Though we know that ARMS is a game that will heavily feature the motion control possibilities of Switch’s Joy-Con, Nintendo already revealed that there will be different control schemes with different controllers.

Nintendo Life has translated the five different control schemes that are already available at the Japanese ARMS’ website so that we can check out how it will be possible to manage without motion controls and with a Pro controller, for example.

While these videos don’t feature any Switch logos, we definitely know that the game is coming. PQube simply may not be handling the Switch version.

ARMS file size

Nintendo updated ARMS’s listing on the European eShop today. With new information included on the page, the file size for the game is now known. It’ll take up about 2.2GB when downloaded to Switch’s internal memory or an external microSD card.

One Japanese boy made his own Switch out of cardboard, which his father – known as Mohikan on Twitter – noticed. He ended up surprising him, and in a pretty thoughtful way.

Mohikan put a real Switch into a cardboard mock-up while his son was taking a bath. On Twitter, he wrote: “I wonder when he’ll notice.”

Nintendo has announced the 2017 Summer of Play tour for its fanbase in the United States. Various activities are being planned for these events.

Along with playable games, attendees will be able to try out the New 2DS XL. There will also be various activities such as a photo opportunity “in front of the colorful visuals full of recognizable Nintendo characters like Mario and the Inklings from the Splatoon series”. Those who pre-order select games at participating GameStop locations near the tour stops will receive a Nintendo branded PopSocket mobile accessory device while supplies last. Also, My Nintendo members who check in with their QR Code will be given a free gift item while supplies last.
