Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma answered another fan question about Breath of the Wild today, as shared by Nintendo of France. This time around, he was asked if the game will be more mature than the previous entries given what we’ve seen in the trailers thus far.

Aonuma responded with the following:

“Of course, when you watch the trailer, the game looks very serious. But that’s because we used serious and spectacular scenes in the edit; it’s what holds the viewers’ attention. But as wit every other Zelda, Breath of the Wild will make you feel a lot of different emotions; and as in every Zelda, there will be serious and dramatic moments as well as more amusing parts which I hope will make you laugh. In this game, you’ll be able to both laugh and be moved.”

Big thanks to Kyrio for helping out with the translation.

Update: Added in the full announcement below.

Original: Niantic announced today that Pokemon GO will be adding 80 new Pokemon from the second generation of Pokemon games this week. Additionally, new features are on the way.

Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile are just some of the new Pokemon that can be encountered. New evolutionary items and berries are coming to the game as well. The former will help players complete their Johto collections, while the latter will make battles feel a little more challenging.

Pokemon GO will now have the Nanab Berry and Pinap Berry. With the Nanab Berry, Pokemon will be slowed down so it’s less likely for them to run off. Pinap Berries give players twice as much candy upon a successful catch.

New customization options can be purchased as well. This will allow users to further customize their looks.

It was recently announced that missing Mega Stones for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon would be distributed as part of online competitions. Now we have some clarity as to how this is being done.

Mega Stones will be handed out through two means:

– Given as a present to players of Online Competitions, such as with the Mawilite and Beedrillite in the upcoming 2017 International Challenge February competition; a limited amount of players will get the code ahead of a wait period of 1 to 2 months before all players get the code
– Through a code that will be given to all players through various events/online postings with no wait period

As Serebii points out, the method will vary depending on the Mega Stone and they intend to go through these methods until summer.

Aside from the Pokemon Sun/Moon news, Pokemon Duel should also be receiving an update tomorrow. The game will be updated to 3.0.2 and implements some balance changes.

Here’s the rundown from Serebii:

Nintendo detailed two of the modes that are included in 1-2-Switch today on its Japanese blog.

First, we have a brief update on Shuffle mode. Mini-games are picked randomly here. Players can also make it so that five mini-games are randomly picked.

1-2-Switch also features Team Match mode, which is recommended if you have a large group of players. The group will be split into two teams and can compete in various mini-games.

Nintendo put up several Japanese Switch ads a few hours ago. One of these included a commercial featuring FIFA 18.

Before we start analyzing what was shown and comparing it to other versions, there is something important to point out. Nintendo briefly included a bit of text saying that the game is still in development, and could be changed before release. That means we may have to wait and see what FIFA 18 truly looks like on Switch.

Thanks to ben for the tip.
