Nintendo has come out with a new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe video that shows off the different boosts that you can pull off, including the new pink addition. Have a look at it below.
Thanks to Amazon Japan, we have a look at the Japanese boxart for Ever Oasis. Check it out above.
Here’s the North American version to compare:
Thumper was one of the games that was confirmed for the Switch at the Nintendo Switch Nindies Showcase in February. Since then, we haven’t heard much about it. Curiously, the game was actually shown off during the latest Nintendo Direct – but only in the Japanese version, despite the game being developed by a Western studio. It seems like NoE and NoA wanted less of a focus on indie games in their respective Directs.
The Japanese Direct revealed that Thumper will launch in May in Japan. We don’t know its European or North American release date yet, but thankfully, it’s easy to access the eShops of other regions on the Switch.
A new trailer for the 3DS version of Dragon Quest XI was shown during the recent Japanese Nintendo Direct. Give it a watch:
Ever since Splatoon 2 was first revealed, we’ve known that different kinds of legwear will be available in the game as an additional way of customizing your Inkling. What wasn’t known, however, was whether they would be tied to a specific shirt or shoes or whether you can freely choose which pants to wear. Footage from the latest Nintendo Direct now confirms that it’s the latter – the “Style” tab in the game’s options menu shows that the female Inkling can choose between standard pants, a skirt and spat.
This also confirms that are a total of four hairstyles to choose from for each gender.

Nintendo revealed the boxart for Hey! Pikmin, its upcoming 3DS game. What might not have been immediately apparent is the “Plays only in 2D” label. Indeed: stereoscopic 3D isn’t supported. The bottom screen is used quite often and both screens are used in conjunction, so that’s likely the reasoning here.
Thus far, the only character we’ve seen in Sonic Forces has been Sonic – in both his Modern and Classics forms. But during today’s Nintendo Direct, a “new ally” was teased. It’s possible that the character is connected to Sonic Forces’ third gameplay style.
