Fire Emblem Heroes is adding in a new wave of “Release Commemoration Present Maps” under the Special Map list. Each map provides three orbs, and since there are two difficulties, there are a total of six orbs to obtain per map. A map will be added each week for five five weeks, meaning there will be a total of 30 orbs up for grabs.

The event kicks off tomorrow. Look for it to begin at about 11 PM PT (tonight) / 2 AM ET / 7 AM in the UK / 8 AM in Europe.

Miitomo has been updated with more content. Users will find returning stages with more items.

“Fashion that totally rules! Royal Elegance” is the returning stage theme. They provide the following:

– Fantasy princess tiara
– Fantasy princess dress
– Magical princess tiara
– Magical princess dress
– Princely crown
– Royal prince outfit
– Fantasy prince outfit
– Princely shoes
– Cat master
– Royal princess tiara
– Royal princess dress
– Princessy pearl slippers

The returning stages will be available until February 7 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.

Nintendo released a new video today showcasing a few European digital game highlights from January 2017. You can watch it below.

Following up on Swapdoodle’s update a few weeks ago, the app has received another small patch. “Adjustments have been made to make for a better gaming experience,” Nintendo says of version 1.1.1. It takes up 136 blocks of space (17 MB).

The final wave of Hyrule Warriors / Legends DLC featured Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. It was highlighted by the addition of two new characters: Ravio and Yuga.

In a recent issue of Nintendo Dream, producer Yosuke Hayashi chatted about the final DLC in-depth. He commented on why two characters were included in the DLC, their weapons, and making them playable. Continue on below for our full translation.

First 4 Figures is just a few weeks away from bringing out its new figure for Link based on his appearance in Breath of the Wild. Thanks to Pixel Dan, we have another good look at it below:

Reader KobobKC has also informed us that Best Buy has changed the release date of the figure. It was previously listed for early March, but now has a release date of February 27. Hopefully that sticks.

A new round of Switch ads have been spotted in Japan’s Tokyo Station. Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe are featured. The system itself has its own set of ads as well.

Nintendo’s next mobile game, Fire Emblem Heroes, arrived this past week. It’s the debut appearance for Fire Emblem on smart devices, and the company’s first real attempt at a “gacha” game.
