It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart! Dragon Quest XI remains the top pick.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between December 24 and January 6.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is going for $60 at retail. At the moment, the only way to pick up the game physically is by snagging the amiibo bundle. If you opt for the digital release though, you can save a little bit of cash.

Amazon just recently opened up pre-orders for the digital version of Twilight Princess HD. If you choose this option, it’ll only cost $50. You’ll miss out on the Wolf Link amiibo of course, but I do know that some of you aren’t interested in the figure. It’s almost certain that purchasing the game directly from the eShop will also cost $50.

Gunman Clive HD Collection hit the Wii U eShop last September. Since then, the download has gone on to sell roughly 9,000 copies, creator Bertil Hörberg has said. That figure doesn’t include sales from Japan, though its impact in the territory was minimal.

On Wii U, Gunman Clive HD Collection sold close to ten times the amount of the Steam version. And given that the two games are also available on the 3DS eShop, the Wii U figure is fairly respectable.

Below are Hörberg’s full comments on the Wii U version’s performance:

“For some slight bit of context Gunman Clive HD Collection has sold about 9000 copies so far (not counting japan, for which I don’t have numbers yet but the initial reports were not very encouraging). Not an amazing number by any means still profitable by most measures: And also I imagine there’s a pretty big overlap of 3DS and WiiU owners so it’s not a big surprise that people aren’t double dipping. It’s about 10x the sales of the Steam release of GC2 however. Admittedly I’ve done an even worse job at promoting that release though and also don’t have many press contacts who focus on PC”

Thanks to Arison for the tip.

Did you pre-order the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition at GameStop after November 18? If so, chances are that your order has been cancelled. An official notice distributed internally indicates that reservations were still possible after this date, but only due to a glitch. Consumers should be receiving a phone call about the cancellation of their order.

For the most part, pre-orders for the Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition have been sold out for awhile now at all retailers. GameStop’s website has been out of stock, though it was still possible for gamers to reserve a copy in store.

Plenty of videos have appeared this weekend comparing Hyrule Warriors Legends to the game on Wii U. Yet another comparison has surfaced, now showing how the title runs on the original 3DS compared to the New 3DS. Unfortunately, the performance takes a bit of a hit on older systems.
