Nintendo started off today’s Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS presentation by revealing a new character, Corrin, as a playable fighter. This is the main character from Fire Emblem Fates. Male and female versions are both offered.
Dragon Fang lets Corrin transform. Doing so lets him execute moves that no others can. Some moves transform specific parts of his body.
Corrin’s moves include the Dragon Fang Shot, Dragon Lunge, Dragon Ascent, Counter Surge. Torrential Roar is the Final Smash, allowing him to pull in opponents with a whirl of water and finish them off collectively.
While there is no new stage, those who purchase Corrin will receive two new music pieces in the Wii U game. Ryoma and Xander are coming as new trophies in the 3DS version.
Corrin is targeted for release in February 2016.

Last week, Nintendo and Mercedes-Benz teamed up for their latest partnership. The car company created and put out its own level in Super Mario Maker, which unlocks a special costume upon completion.
This was the second time Nintendo and Mercedes-Benz. In 2014, free DLC was added to Mario Kart 8 so that players could access the GLA, W 25 Silver Arrow, 300 SL Roadster, and GLA Tires.
Here’s what Caroline Pilz, head of product placement and fashion sponsoring for Mercedes-Benz Cars, said about its work with Nintendo:
“Many people grew up with Mario during the last 30 years, so there are quite a lot of 30- and 40-somethings around for which Super Mario Maker hails back to their childhood days and gives them a large dose of nostalgia. While we received a lot of positive feedback on the campaign and the integration of our cars into Mario Kart 8, we also learned that many gamers are skeptical about brands appearing in their games, so we made sure to put a lot of effort and passion into designing the actual level.”
Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden has received its first notable sale. The initial price was $30, but it’s now down to $16.53 on Amazon. You can find the product page here for more information.

AckkStudios provided another release window update for YIIK today. When we last heard about the game, it was planned for launch between December and late February. We can now count on seeing it sometime between February and March.
AckkStudios wrote in a Tumblr update:
“We estimate we’re about 96% complete with the game, and believe that we can bring it to you between February and March!
Our original plan was to release it this month, however in an effort to avoid having the console versions trailing a few months behind the Steam release, we’ve decided to take time and try and release them on the same day, or within weeks.”
Shovel Knight is currently on sale over on Amazon. Currently, the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game can be had for $20. Put in an order here if interested.
