Due to Twitch’s auto-play, we’re placing this one after the break.

Gunman Clive 2 is due out next week on the 3DS eShop, creator Bertil Hörberg has confirmed. This applies to both North America and Europe.

The game will be available starting on January 29. Pricing is set at $2.99.

Buy is running a deal on the Super Mario 3D World Deluxe Set via eBay. Consumers can purchase the console for only $270, which also includes a copy of Nintendo Land.

This deal is valid through the next week. Keep in mind however that supply is apparently limited.

Last year, Nintendo offered digital-only rewards on Club Nintendo for those who reached Elite Status (Platinum/Gold Status). This was quite a big change since, in the past, we saw gifts like a figurine, Majora’s Mask soundtrack, and more.

It’s looking like the 2015 Elite Status rewards will once again be digital-only. With the closure of Club Nintendo on the horizon, I suppose it’s not entirely surprising.

Check out this blurb from the official Club Nintendo discontinuation notice:

In order to reach Elite Status, you must earn 300 Coins (for Gold Status) or 600 Coins (for Platinum Status) between July 1, 2014 and March 31, 2015. Members who reach Elite Status will be able to choose a downloadable game from a wide selection of Nintendo 3DS and Wii U titles. Your free Elite Status gift will be available between April 1 and April 30, 2015. A list of the Elite Status 2015 gifts will be posted here once announced.

Does the image above look familiar? It should. We posted something like it yesterday. There is now one major change though: the text on top says “Games coming for Nintendo 3DS” as opposed to “Games coming in 2015 on Nintendo 3DS”.

If you missed out on our original story, the image comes from a Nintendo of Australia email, which was reissued today since “there was an error in the listed release dates of Nintendo 3DS titles.” Unfortunately, that means Fire Emblem isn’t confirmed for a 2015 launch in the west after all. I’d still say it’s very possible that it happens, but we no longer have a “confirmation”.

Nintendo will be appearing at the first PAX South event in San Antonio, Texas later this week, the company announced today.

Attendees will be able to go hands on with the New 3DS XL before it launches on February 13. Additionally, Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS will be playable.

Nintendo is celebrating the upcoming launch of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D with a “72-Hour Mask Challenge”. This asks fans to create their own personalized masks. More information will be published on Nintendo of America’s Twitter account.

Also tying in to promote Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, fans will be able to take photos with a real-life replica of the Majora’s Mask and receive paper versions to wear around the convention (while supplies last). Those who come dressed in costumes inspired by The Legend of Zelda will be able to bypass lines to get hands-on time with the 3DS game.

PAX South runs between January 23 and January 25. Head past the break for today’s complete announcement.
