It was clear that Metroid Prime: Federation Force would have some sort of amiibo support thanks to the game’s boxart. Nintendo has now shared first details about what’s actually included.

In Metroid Prime: Federation Force, you can scan different amiibo to add a paint job to your Mech in Blast Ball matches. You can see what Mario and Bowser bring to the table in this post.

Samus and Zero Suit Samus also have a specific use. You can tape either of the two for “helpful in-game upgrades.”

Amazon Canada has gone live with pre-orders for the new Splatoon amiibo. Each one can be found here. The lineup includes the Squid Sisters, new colors for Inkling Girl/Boy/Squid, and a bundle for the latter three.

Yesterday, Nintendo announced Mario Party: Star Rush and upcoming Super Mario amiibo as well as a release date for Paper Mario: Color Splash. We now have dates for all three in Europe. All of these products are actually launching on the same day: October 7.

PDP has three new amiibo displays in the works, according to Amazon listings. “Master Sword Stylus Display”, “Spinning Fire Bar Display”, and “Donkey Kong Display” should be out sometime this year. The first two are priced at $14.99 while the other one will cost $19.99.

GameStop is now taking pre-orders for the new Splatoon amiibo. You can reserve the various figures here. The lineup includes the Squid Sisters, 3-pack of Inkling Girl (green), Inkling Boy (purple), and Squid (orange), as well as individual amiibo for the latter two.

Nintendo has published a new Children’s Product Certificate, but no one seems to know what it is at present. The company generally has these items up for amiibo.

Amiibo News speculates that the certificate is for a new Smash Bros. figure. That’s because the product number is chronologically behind the new Splatoon amiibo. We should find out what this is soon enough.

The eCapcom store is now taking pre-orders for a limited edition version of Monster Hunter Stories. It’ll include a copy of the game, 24-page book featuring art, developer messages, and other items, a soundtrack selection CD, a Kizuna Stone necklace, and special box.

moldclay is back with another update to his fan-made amiibo compatibility chart once again. In this latest version, it’s been brought up to version 9.0, adding in games like Monster Hunter Stories and Teddy Together. The new Splatoon amiibo have also been included, among other changes/additions. Check out the full image below.
