It’s been a busy day for Animal Crossing: New Horizons with both free and paid content revealed. Happy Home Paradise is the new DLC, and as a bonus for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, this can be accessed at no extra cost.
But what happens to the Happy Home Paradise DLC if you unsubscribe from the service? Nintendo provided the following statement to Eurogamer:

Nintendo has announced Animal Crossing: Happy Home Paradise, paid DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. If you pick up the new Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass bundle, you can obtain the content at no extra cost.
The premise of the DLC is that you’ll assist Paradise Planning, a resort developer, in designing vacation homes. You’ll be in charge of coordinating dream lifestyles for characters. You’ll ultimately want to help others acquire their dream vacation homes.

Uno adds The Call of Yara DLC on Switch

Ubisoft has just issued new DLC for Uno on Switch in the form of The Call of Yara. This new content is inspired by the tropical paradise island Yara, bringing along new features and a game mode.
The Call of Yara introduces a Yara-inspired board and menu, exclusive themed-cards, and immersive audio soundtrack. Players start out by drawing seven cards and 300 Pesos. They then collect 100 Pesos at the beginning of every turn, which can be spent to hire the services of Libertad legends.
Ubisoft points out that each character in Uno’s The Call of Yara affects the gameplay differently. Spend your Pesos strategically to unlock the services below:
Ghostrunner gains Wave Mode, Assist Mode, Neon Pack DLC on Switch

The first-person cyberpunk parkour action game Ghostrunner has been updated on Switch, with players now able to access the roguelite-inspired Wave Mode, an Assist Mode to tune combat difficulty, and a paid synthwave-inspired cosmetic Neon Pack.
Wave Mode features waves of procedurally-generated enemy types in an enclosed arena-style level. Players can complete waves to earn hero upgrades that persist through each round. By surviving 20 rounds, an exclusive sword will be unlocked.
Pac-Man 99 adds Tower of Babel theme

This week, Tower of Babel was added to Pac-Man 99 as the game’s latest theme, and it’s based on the 1986 title. It can be downloaded now by all players worldwide under the name “Namco Classic 6”.
About a month ago, a Tank Battalion was made available in Pac-Man 99. Prior to that was Hopping Mappy and Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti. Other available themes include Baraduke, Bravoman, Cosmo Gang the Video, Dig Dug, Dragon Buster, Galaga, Namco Classics 1-5, New Rally-X, Rolling Thunder, The Genji and the Heike Clans, The Legend of “Valkyrie”, The Return of Ishtar, The Tower of Druaga, Wonder Momo, Xevious, and Yokai Dochuki.

Children of Morta: Ancient Spirits DLC launch trailer

Publisher 11 bit studios and developer Dead Mage have uploaded a launch trailer for the new Children of Morta: Ancient Spirits DLC.
As previously mentioned, the new DLC comes with an additional character. It also has new character masks to customize each family member as well as five relics, five charms, and five graces.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity – Purah and Robbie first gameplay

At the Tokyo Game Show today, Koei Tecmo debuted the first gameplay of Purah / Robbie in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and showed off one of the new cutscenes.
Guardian of Remembrance is the second part of the game’s Expansion Pass. It includes new characters, additional stages, and new story sequences.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak featured monster is Malzeno, Shogun Ceanataur confirmed

At TGS 2021 today, Capcom confirmed that Malzeno is the flagship monster for the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion. It’s confirmed to be “a fierce elder dragon”, but Capcom didn’t have a whole lot else to say.
Outside of Malzeno, we do have a little bit of additional news. Shogun Ceanataur, a crab-like monster who first appeared in Monster Hunter 2, will be present in Sunbreak as well.

Children of Morta gains free update on Switch, Ancient Spirits DLC revealed

Support for the action RPG Children of Morta continues with a free update and upcoming Ancient Spirits DLC.
Today’s update includes Consecration, a new objective added to the combat-focused Family Trials mode. Two full language localizations have been added as well including voiceovers in Persian and Japanese. The Japanese voiceover features the talented Takaya Hashi, who has previously worked on Naruto and Sailor Moon. Hashi acts as the game’s narrator.

Horizon Chase Turbo reveals Senna Forever Expansion

Today, Horizon Chase Turbo developer Aquiris unveiled a brand new Senna Forever Expansion for Horizon Chase Turbo. The paid DLC pays homage to legendary driver Ayrton Senna with a new set of cars, tracks, and features inspired by his career.
In single player career mode, you’ll follow the steps of the Brazilian driver through five nostalgic chapters. It comes with a new first-person view as well as new race strategy mechanics as you make tough choices and choose your car setup based on each race track and weather conditions.
