Pokken Tournament website mentions “My Town”
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U | 10 Comments
Nintendo and The Pokemon Company announced on Friday that Pokken Tournament is releasing on March 18 in the west. That news was accompanied by the launch of an official website, located here.
There’s not too much to see on the site currently. You can get a look at the different characters included in the game, but that’s pretty much it.
However, upon further inspection of the page, there are grayed out options in the menu like “Game Modes” and “amiibo Card”. There’s also something called “My Town”. I don’t believe we’ve heard about this before. What might it be?
Thanks to FoxTheBlox for the tip.

[Let’s Talk] Do you want to see more of Linkle?

Let’s Talk #36: Do you want to see more of Linkle?
After Hyrule Warriors came out, we learned that the developers toyed around with an idea for a character named “Linkle”. To put it simply, she was intended to be Link’s female equivalent. Concept art of Linkle eventually made the rounds, and for the most part, she was well-received. That’s what motivated Koei Tecmo to revisit the character and include her in Hyrule Warriors Legends.
Hyrule Warriors Legends will debut in Japan next week. Players will finally be able to use the character and see how she plays. But what role does she have beyond this game? Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma has already mentioned wanting to keep her in mind for future entries in the franchise.
Do you guys want to see more of her though? Would you be open to having Linkle (or something else in the spirit of her character) in a mainline Zelda? Or would you prefer for Linkle to remain only in Hyrule Warriors Legends? Regardless of how you feel, definitely let us know below!

First look at the Zelda: Twilight Princess HD pre-order CD (GameStop)
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Images, Wii U | 17 Comments
By pre-ordering The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, consumers will receive a special bonus. Nintendo is including a sound selecting CD with reservations. GameStop posted a photo of the pre-order bonus, which we have above.
Nintendo and GameStop are actually calling this an “exclusive”. But as far as I’m aware, this should be available at multiple stores. Nintendo said in its original announcement: “The game’s iconic soundtrack will be offered as a bonus for fans who pre-order the game from select retailers.” So… I’m not quite sure why GameStop has this labeled as an exclusive. Maybe something has changed. If you really want the CD and live in North America, you should maybe go ahead and reserve the title at GameStop just to be safe.
