Update: Full patch can be found after the break.

Nintendo has released the latest firmware update – version 7.0.0-13 – for the 3DS, and it’s a big one.

First, Miiverse is now fully supported on the 3DS. After installing the new firmware, you should see a new icon on the home menu that will allow you to access the online community.

Today’s update also brings about Nintendo Network IDs on the 3DS. Names registered on Wii U can now be used on the 3DS and eShop balances can be combined. Alternatively, a Nintendo Network ID can be created from scratch.

A StreetPass update is also available, though we’re not quite sure what it adds at present.

Music rhythm adventure game Tadpole Treble has hit its Kickstarter goal and will now be made into a PC game, but its Wii U stretch goal is still about $10K away. The Kickstarter has already ended so donations cannot be given that way, but the team does accept PayPal money, so if you’re truly interested in seeing this game on Wii U then head over here to send them your money.

Bravely Second is set in Luxendarc – the same world as the first title – but several years after the Warriors of Light saved the world.

Magnolia Arch is one of the new characters players will encounter. This “Devil Buster” came from the moon, has a daredevil personality, and is the last of her kind after a Demon Lord unexpectedly appeared. Magnolia is also sociable, eccentric, pragmatic, and a romanticist. She’s dainty, but lively. Magnolia rescued Tiz Arrior at one point.
