NEO: The World Ends with You

The World Ends with You first debuted on DS way back in 2007 (2008 in the west). Since then, Square Enix hasn’t done much with the IP. We’ve seen ports and things like character cameos in Kingdom Hearts, but there hasn’t been a new game – until now.

NEO: The World Ends with You, the next entry in the series, will finally release this summer. Producer Tomohiko Hirano spoke about the long wait for a new entry, telling IGN:

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom

The first Ni no Kuni made it to Switch in 2019. Its sequel, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, could now be on the way as well.

Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom was rated for Nintendo’s console today by the ESRB. It’s “The Prince’s Edition”, which suggests that the season pass DLC will be included.

Despite not being announced previously, SpongeBob: Krusty Cook-Off has just landed on Switch. Titling Point first launched the game on mobile, and while it’s largely the same on Nintendo’s console, the developer says it’s been “re-designed” and features four new power-ups.

Monster Hunter Rise

Monster Hunter Rise has sold over six million copies worldwide, Capcom has announced. Earlier this month, it was revealed that shipments were at five million.

Capcom is celebrating the latest milestone with another bonus for players. Kamura Pack 2: Big Hit Celebration is now available, which includes:

A new video is in for the upcoming Switch version of Miitopia. Nintendo debuted the “Miitopia Makes Over Mii Characters trailer today, which we have below.

It was also announced that a free demo has gone live on Switch – it can be accessed from the eShop.

Capcom has shared an update roadmap for Monster Hunter Rise. More patches are in the works, with version 3.0 planned for the end of May.

Version 3.0 will include new monsters and a new story that takes place after the ending. Further information will be provided at a later date.

Capcom has dated the version 2.0 update for Monster Hunter Rise. Players can download the new patch on April 28, the company announced today.
