We finally have some news about the Azure Striker Gunvolt Striker Pack for Europe. In case you didn’t know, the Striker Pack contains both Azure Striker Gunvolt games in one retail package. The pack’s release in Europe has been unclear for a while, but it seems like we finally have clarity now.

Today, the Azure Striker Gunvolt Striker Pack was rated by PEGI, meaning it was cleared for release in most European countries – and the rating lists Yacht Club Games as the publisher, who are also publishing the pack in North America. Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 was released on the European eShop yesterday – the Striker Pack doesn’t have a release date yet, but it hopefully shouldn’t take much longer.

Michel Ancel’s Instagram post on Tuesday got quite a lot of attention, as it seems to more or less confirm that a new Beyond Good & Evil 2 is a thing, and that we would likely be hearing more about it soon. We’re still waiting for an official announcement, but in the meantime Ancel posted some more Beyond Good & Evil artwork on Instagram, this time of an anthropomorphic shark – a common sight in the world of Beyond Good & Evil.

While Paris Games Week is not as big of a deal as gamescom or E3, it’s still a nice convention that you should definitely check out if you can. However, if you’re attending this year, don’t expect to see Nintendo there as well. The company confirmed to jeuxvideo.com that they would not be attending Paris Games Week 2016, which takes place from October 27th to October 31st, because it “did not fit their annual plan”.

RPG Maker Fes, the latest entry in the RPG Maker series, will be released in Japan (and only Japan so far) on November 24th. Ahead of its release, Kadokawa Games released some new info, which the fine folks at Gematsu translated.

First of all, you will be able to work on and save up to 16 RPGs at the same time. This should leave plenty of room for experimentation – get stuck on one project? Save it for later and work on the next one. These will be saved on your 3DS’ SD card.

Monster Hunter Stories is launching in Japan on October 8th. On the same day, Capcom will release four Monster Hunter Stories-themed 3DS Home menu themes. These will cost 200 yen each. Check out the videos below to see them in action:

Ubisoft’s Michel Ancel, creator of both the Rayman and the Beyond Good & Evil franchises, caused quite a stir this morning when he posted some Beyond Good & Evil concept artwork on his Instagram account, along with the line “Somewhere in system 4 … – Thanks ubisoft for making this possible !” The artwork seems to show Pey’j from the first game, only much younger, leading fans to speculate that Beyond Good & Evil 2 might be a prequel.

It also doesn’t seem like Ancel made this post by accident or without approval from the higher ups at Ubisoft – the Ubisoft France Twitter account urged fans to take a look at the Instagram post.

While this all seems to be pretty conclusively pointing at a Beyond Good & Evil sequel, keep in mind that it’s not quite an official confirmation yet, and also that this might not be on a Nintendo platform. There have been rumors that Beyond Good & Evil 2 might be a Nintendo-funded NX exclusive, but of course, these might just be rumors and nothing more. We will keep you updated.

Update: The same Volcanion has been announced for Norway as well. It will be available for download from Gamestop and Neo Tokyo stores, as well as serial codes from Gamzone and Spillsjappa, all available from October 1 through November 23.

Starting in October, Volcanion, the final Mythical Pokemon from generation 6, will be distributed in various countries. Details have now been announced for the distribution in Sweden: Gamestop, Webhallen and Spel & Sånt stores will carry codes that allow you to get Volcanion.

Interestingly, this “Swedish” Volcanion will be similar to the one distributed in Japan in that it carries the Rage Candy Bar item and knows Mist – the one that’ll be distributed in other Western countries carries an Assault Vest and knows Explosion instead.

The next entry in the Mario Party series, Mario Party: Star Rush, will be released in Europe on October 7th and in North America on November 11th. If you’re still on the fence about the game and want to see some more footage, NintenDaan has got you covered. He uploaded a total of 9 videos with footage from the game; check out the ones in this post, including the ones past the break, and feel free to watch the rest on Daan’s Youtube channel, if you’re interested.

Sanuk Games’ Mahjong is out today on the European Wii U eShop. Check out a new trailer for it:

Today, the Japanese Pokemon Youtube channel re-uploaded a video that introduces the Pokemon Bank and Poke Transporter applications for 3DS. What’s notable about this is that the video’s description was edited to reflect the fact that the update that will allow Pokemon Bank to work with Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon is now scheduled to arrive in January 2017, two months after the launch of the new generation of games. This update will also allow players to deposit their Pokemon from the Virtual Console versions of Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow into the Bank.

Previously, no set release date for this update was announced, though perhaps many people assumed it would be available in late November alongside Sun and Moon. Still, this isn’t exactly a new occurrence as Pokemon Bank wasn’t available for the launch of Pokemon X & Y back in October 2013 either, instead launching in December 2013. Be patient, trainers, and make use of the Pokemon found in Alola until you can transfer over your old favorites!
