Charlie Day appeared on one of the latest episodes of Jimmy Kimmel Live and was asked about being involved with the upcoming Super Mario animated movie in which the actor is playing Luigi. Unfortunately, he couldn’t say a whole lot. 

According to Day, the movie is “top secret”. It also looks like he’s currently in the recording process as he had recorded lines that morning. Other than that, we learn that the actors are recording individually rather than together in a group.

The full exchange between Day and Kimmel regarding his involvement in the Super Mario Bros. movie as Luigi is as follows:

Publisher PID Games and developer Tomo Camp have announced that the upcoming platformer Pompom will be released on Switch. The project is currently targeting a 2022 release.

While Pompom stars a hamster as its main character, you don’t control it directly. You instead control everything else in the stage, whether it’s laying down bricks, spring, cannons, and umbrellas. It’s ultimately about altering the world to create a safe path to help Pompom defeat the evil Captain Cat.

Letters written adventure switch release date

­The hand-drawn word puzzle game Letters: A Written Adventure is on the way to Switch next month, publisher PID Games and developer 5AM Games has announced. Its release is scheduled for February 9, 2022.

Letters: A Written Adventure was first confirmed for Nintendo’s console last June. It originally had a 2021 release window at the time.

Chocobo GP physical

Chocobo GP won’t have a physical version in North America, but in Asia, it’s a different story. Square Enix has confirmed that it will have a boxed version ready to go for launch in March. Additionally, it will support several different language options.

Sky Fleet Switch

Publisher Freedom Games and developer Enno Games have announced that Sky Fleet, a sky-high tower defense co-op shooter, is planned for Switch. It will release on the system in 2022.

In a new trailer, Kitsune Games and MidBoss unveiled the voice cast for Kitsune Tails, the Japanese mythology-inspired platformer.

The lineup features Kira Buckland who voiced protagonist 2B in NieR: Automata, Falke in Street Fighter V, and Jolynne Cujoh in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. Buckland will play protagonist Yuzu, who lives and loves in the world of humans while serving as a divine messenger for the kitsune goddess, Inari.

PowerSlave Exhumed

Nightdive Studios is bringing PowerSlave Exhumed to Switch, an eShop listing reveals.

Lobotomy Software originally developed PowerSlave in 1996. The first-person shooter appeared on the SEGA Saturn, PlayStation, and MS-DOS.

PowerSlave Exhumed features a number of visual upgrades. Nightdive Studios also managed to combine the SEGA Saturn and PlayStation versions.
