Moonlighter

Moonlighter has received a new update, which is described as “a substantial stability patch”. The game is now at version 1.0.0.9.

Nintendo Switch

Virtuos, the studio behind several Switch ports and Switch versions of multiplatform titles, has hinted at more support to come later this year.

In an interview with Nintendo Life, managing director of games Christophe Gandon mentioned that the company is “excited about new projects on the horizon for this summer and beyond”. That came about while discussing how Switch has now outsold the 3DS and is Nintendo’s fifth best-selling console of all time.

Another Pokemon is getting the Build-A-Beat treatment. This time it’s Mew, who has its own cape and Master Ball hoodie.

Dogworld

Lateralis has announced that Dogworld, a run-and-gun Metroidvania shooter, is on the way to Switch. The game should appear on Nintendo’s console later in 2021.

You Run, DigitalMania, and Bonus Stage Publishing have announced that the online arena shooter Warshmallows is in the works for Switch. It will reach Nintendo’s console a bit after the initial launch in March.

Back in 2015, The Wall Street Journal reported that Nintendo and Netflix were teaming up on a live-action TV series based on The Legend of Zelda. Nothing ever came from those rumors. If US comedian Adam Conover is to be believed, that was due to the original leak.

Conover shared the reported news during The Serf Times podcast. He also claimed that a Star Fox claymation project inspired by Wes Anderson’s Fantastic Mr. Fox movie adaptation was planned as well in partnership with CollegeHumor..
