September 2020 NPD: Switch continues run as best-selling console

In the United States last month, Switch was again the best-selling console. That goes for both dollar and unit sales.
Hardware spending has increased 22 percent year-to-date when compared to a year ago, to $2.3 billion. Thanks to growth in sales of Switch, the system was able to offset declines on other console platforms.

Deemo Reborn gets new Switch rating in Korea, may suggest release on the system

Deemo Reborn isn’t on Switch yet, but that could be changing soon. The game, which features a mix of rhythm and adventure puzzle-solving gameplay, has been rated for Nintendo’s console in Korea.

Headup Games and Devespresso Games have announced that they’re re-releasing The Coma: Recut on Switch today. The relaunch, which is happening on the eShop, sports all-new graphical and text updates.
To celebrate today’s news, those that purchase The Coma: Recut can receive a 25 percent discount. The discount will last until November 5.

Itsuka Kendo announced as new My Hero One’s Justice 2 DLC character

Itsuka Kendo is joining My Hero One’s Justice 2 as a new DLC character, according to the latest issue of Weekly Jump. Thanks to her Quirk, she can fight with huge hands.
Weekly Jump doesn’t provide much else in the way of information, and it’s unclear when exactly Itsuka Kendo will be added to the game. When Bandai Namco announces the character outside of the magazine, perhaps we’ll hear more.
My Hero One’s Justice 2 is currently available on Switch.

Final Fantasy VII / Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Twin Pack seeing release in Europe

Square Enix is bringing the Final Fantasy VII / Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Twin Pack to Europe, the company has announced. This was previously released in Asia last year.
As the name implies, you’re getting two games here: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII Remastered. Both are being sold together as a single physical release.
Final Fantasy VII / Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Twin Pack releases in Europe on December 4 for €39.99. Square Enix is taking pre-orders through its online store here.

Fire Emblem Heroes announces Goddess’s Servants summoning event

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced the next summoning event for Fire Emblem Heroes. Goddess’s Servants will feature Catherine: Thunder Knight, Flayn: Playing Innocent, Seteth: Seiros Adherent, and Shamir: Archer Apart. A new story chapter is also planned.
Goddess’s Servants goes live in Fire Emblem Heroes on October 19. View a trailer for the event below.
