Switch / Wii U / 3DS maintenance taking place this week

Nintendo has two rounds of maintenance scheduled for this week thus far. The first period will specifically impact certain network services for 3DS (online play, rankings, etc.) while the second will affect Nintendo’s portable in addition to Switch and Wii U.
The full schedule is as follows:
3DS
– 5:50 PM PT (September 5) – 7:30 PM PT (September 5)
– 8:50 PM ET (September 5) – 10:30 PM ET (September 5)
– 1:50 AM in the UK (September 6) – 3:30 AM in the UK (September 6)
– 2:50 AM in Europe (September 6) – 4:30 AM in Europe (September 6)
Switch / Wii U / 3DS
– 9 PM PT (September 7) – 2 AM PT (September 8)
– 12 AM ET (September 8) – 5 AM ET (September 8)
– 5 AM in the UK (September 8) – 10 AM in the UK (September 8)
– 6 AM in Europe (September 8) – 11 AM in Europe (September 8)

It’s time for the latest Famitsu‘s most wanted games chart. Super Mario Odyssey moves up to #2, while Pokemon Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon enter the top five.

More kingdoms confirmed for Super Mario Odyssey

Earlier tonight, the packaging images were revealed for the new Super Mario Odyssey amiibo. Fans have already been pouring over every tiny detail from the boxarts to see if anything is new. And as it turns out, it looks like we have the names of three more kingdoms – potential spoilers ahead.

Famitsu readers choose the top 100 best games of all time

Japanese magazine Famitsu put out its 1,500th issue this past week. In celebration of that, readers were asked to vote on the top 100 games of all time.
A number of Nintendo games made the list, including the a few in the top ten. These include Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Splatoon, which were selected fifth best and third best respectively.

Miitomo – new items (9/3/17)

A number of new items have been added to Miitomo. Among the selection you’ll find in the app, the following are now available:
– Cami dress
– Pop art long tee
– Two-tone tights
These items can be obtained by using Miitomo coins in Miitomo Shop.

North American Xenoblade Chronicles 2 teaser site open

The North American teaser site for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is now live. You can head on over here to access it.
It’ll likely be at least a few weeks (if not a couple of months) before the full site goes live. However, it does currently have a trailer and some screenshots we’ve seen before. A general overview of the world and introductions to Rex and Pyra are also included.
