In the United States, Nintendo lowered the price of the 2DS to $80 a couple of months ago. Now Canada is getting a price drop as well.

On July 15, the 2DS will be sold for $109.99. That’s down from the previous asking price of $129.99. Aside from the lower price, most systems also come with either Mario Kart 7 or Yo-kai Watch pre-installed.

A pair of new Pokemon have been revealed in this month’s issue of CoroCoro.

First up is Kiteruguma, a Normal/Fighting creature with Fluffy and Klutz abilities. We also have a look at the Ghost/Fairy Pokemon Mimitsukiyu. This one has the ability called Disguise.

CoroCoro says that those in Alola are scared of Kiteruguma to the point of having warning signs about it. Because of its strength, it can break anything in two. It likes to hug its trainers, though raising one puts your life in danger.

Meanwhile, Mimitsukiyu hates sunlight and prefers dark places. The cloth covering its body is rumored to be a strategy to avoid the sun. If someone tries to remove the cloth, it’s said they’ll become afflicted with an illness.
