A pair of classic games have been rated in Australia. Hogan’s Alley and Dig Dug II both entered the database today. Could these two titles be making their way to the Wii U Virtual Console soon? As always, we’ll let you know if we hear anything!

1001 Spikes will get off-TV play support through upcoming patch

Nicalis is finishing up a patch for 1001 Spikes that will add off-TV play to the game’s Wii U version. It’s unclear when exactly the update will be ready, but it should be submitted to Nintendo of America next month.
Nicalis’ Tyrone Rodriguez wrote on Twitter earlier this week:

Update: Listing removed – eShop lists Azure Striker Gunvolt for release in Europe on April 2

Update: Bumped to the top, as the listing has been pulled. Was it discovered too early? Or was it a mistake?
Azure Striker Gunvolt appears to finally be coming to Europe next week, based on a listing from the eShop. The game will apparently arrive on April 4 for €12.99.
This date hasn’t been officially confirmed just yet, but eShop listings tend to be spot on these days. We’ll let you know if/when an announcement is made.

Walmart now selling eShop credit delivered through email

Walmart is now offering a way to obtain eShop credit via email. You can purchase values of $10, $20, $35, or $50.
This is a pretty notable move on Walmart’s part. In the past, the only way to receive eShop credit was by using your credit card on the eShop or by buying a points card. Code delivery via email is a convenient option to have!

Pokemon Shuffle version 1.1.6 out now

Pokemon Shuffle version 1.1.6 is now available. Essentially, it’s a bug fix. Those who won the Lucarionite event but didn’t receive a Jewel should now find that this has been corrected.

Fan remakes Super Mario 64 level in Unity

Developer Roystan Ross has been tinkering away on a Unity-based remake of Super Mario 64. Earlier this month, Ross posted his efforts up to this point over on his blog.
You can download the Super Mario 64 demo here. Keep in mind that it’s a demonstration, meaning Bob-omb Battlefield is the only playable level currently. Also note that download links on the site may be down due to heavy traffic.
