One fan has put together an impressive custom amiibo featuring Waluigi. Luigi is used for the base, so Smash Bros. players can set the character to Waluigi colors in-game.
The asking price for this amiibo is $200 on eBay. You can check out the official listing here.

Photos of Nintendo’s Love Tester

Nintendo came out with the Love Tester back in 1969. The product, created by Gunpei Yokoi, was made to determine how much two people love each other.
The Love Tester is used by having two people hold onto the terminal knobs while holding hands. It then senses increase in heart rate and moves the needle on the display accordingly.
Here’s an interesting piece of Hyrule Warriors concept art

We’ve posted shots from the Hyrule Warriors art book before, but Destructoid has picked out design that looks particularly interesting. It’s not entirely clear what’s going on, though it seems like Link is cutting off a Bulblin’s arm. The woman in the design was featured in at least one more piece of finished art.

Storing 3DS games in… a Godiva chocolate box

Are you not satisfied with the current 3DS game card cases that are available? Then perhaps you’ll think about storing your cartridges in a Godiva assorted chocolate box!
This is about as random as it gets, but the box is apparently quite good at storing 3DS games strangely enough. Up to 16 titles can be held in the box.

Update: Or not – Target now says Rosalina & Luma amiibo pre-orders will return this month
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 4 Comments
Update: I’m not sure what’s going on with Target, but now it’s looking like pre-orders won’t be returning after all…
@90pll Thanks for asking! The Rosalina and Luma Amiibo will be a Target exclusive. We aren't offering pre-orders on this item.
— AskTarget (@AskTarget) January 2, 2015
@90pll The Nintendo Amiibo Rosalina & Luma will be available in our Target Canada stores. But no preorder and quantities will be limited.
— AskTarget (@AskTarget) January 3, 2015
@Jervaaay Thanks for your interest! We aren't currently taking pre-orders and don't have specifics right now on future availability.
— AskTarget (@AskTarget) January 3, 2015
Target opened pre-orders for the Rosalina & Luma amiibo during two extremely brief periods last month. The retailer later said that online reservations were closed and consumers would need to head towards their local stores in hopes of nabbing a figure.
Now we’re hearing something that contradicts this a bit. The official “AskTarget” has indicated that Rosalina & Luma amiibo pre-orders will return sometime this month before it goes on sale in February. Fans are advised to continue checking the website.
@Jervaaay Yes the Rosalina & Luma amiibo Figure will be available for pre-order sometime this month! Keep checking back! Thank you!

Nintendo Everything is now fully mobile-friendly
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Site updates | 25 Comments
Update: Bumping this to the top. I wanted to let everyone know that all feedback is being considered for updates to the mobile site. We’ll keep you posted as things develop.
Also, it’s now 2015 on the East Coast, where Nintendo Everything is based. So happy to New Year to you all! I hope everyone has a fantastic 2015.
Nintendo Everything’s mobile site is now up and running! Some of you probably came across it at some point today.
The best part is, no secondary link is required to access the mobile layout. Simply visit Nintendo Everything as you regularly would, and you’ll be presented with the proper version of the site.
Even better: the new layout works on various devices, including tablets and even the Wii U! It basically fits the needs of anyone visiting the site. Your screen will automatically adjust to the design.
One thing I must do is thank the person who made the mobile site possible. Tim Sookram updated Nintendo Everything so that the design would look proper and adjust to practically any screen. I’m extremely thankful for his time and effort. Without him, none of this would have been possible. Thank you so much, Tim!
If you come across any issues or oddities, please let us know. We’ll try to fix any problems that arise as soon as possible.
