REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Who’s ready for adventure? Captain Toad certainly is, but he’s not the only one. Pink-pigtailed Toadette joins Captain Toad and makes her debut as a second playable character in portions of the upcoming Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker game.
Armed with a headlight and a can-do attitude, Captain Toad and Toadette must make their way through enemy-infested locales like Wild West shanties and Goomba waterparks. Each location is bursting with puzzles to solve and secrets to unearth. These heroes need to be extra clever in order to tackle these obstacles, since they can’t jump.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker will take up 1.9GB on your Wii U console or external hard drive. Compared to other retail games, that’s actually quite small! Note that save data takes up another 2MB.

Images from this month’s CoroCoro have now emerged showing the new Mega Evolutions for Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire. We get a look at Mega Beedrill, Mega Pidgeot, Mega Latios and Mega Latias.
CoroCoro also shares the following details:
– Mega Pidgeot is Normal/Flying-type with the ability No Guard
– Mega Beedrill is Bug/Poison-type with the ability Adaptability
– Can fly on Mega Latios and Latias in the overworld and find Pokémon such as Reshiram, Zekrom, Dialga & Palkia in the sky
– Latios is exclusive to Omega Ruby and Latias is exclusive to Alpha Sapphire
– The Eon Ticket is said to return through a special distribution
– The Legendary Pokémon are found on islands that can only be found through areas on the sky
– You access the sky through the Eon Flute item

The free Mercedes-Benz DLC for Mario Kart 8 has been downloaded over one million times, Nintendo announced today. That’s a worldwide figure since the content launched in August. If players have yet to download the DLC, Nintendo advises them to give it a try.

Bayonetta 2 misc. tips and tricks highlighted in new PlatinumGames blog post

Now that Bayonetta 2 is out in Japan and the game has almost arrived in North America/Europe, PlatinumGames’ blog posts for the title are starting to slow down. Still, the company did update its website today with yet another post focusing on tips and tricks from designer Ryoya Sakebe.
Here’s an excerpt:
1) Where’s Loki?!
In the first part of the game’s story you travel with your companion Loki. He is able to transform into a flying squirrel, and while on the move he hangs out within Bayonetta’s substantial bosom. Lucky jerk. But when Bayonetta unleashes the Beast Within and transforms into a Panther, where do you think he goes? Don’t worry, she doesn’t leave him behind!
