We have larger and better shots of the new Japanese Club Nintendo t-shirts (and the full backs). And one note: the Zelda: Wind Waker HD one will actually be available on September 26 – the day the game launches in Japan.

Monster Hunter 4 will have a unique quest maker aspect. To learn more about this feature, check out the summary of details below as well as a few screenshots.

– Game has a built-in quest maker
– Players can use a search feature when hunting alone and exploring the Unknown Forest
– This makes the game create a random quest by selecting monsters, the field area, and material points
– Clear the quest and it will become a Guild Quest
– This means you can share it with other players and complete it together
– Register up to 10 Guild Quest types and exchange them through StreetPass
– Each time you clear a Guild Quest it levels up
– This increases its difficulty and the quality of items you can earn
– These kinds of quests have a new equipment you can collect called Excavation Equipment
– Parameters and designs for Excavation Equipment is different than you will find in regular quests
– Can only collect Excavation Equipment from the Sea of Trees
– Sounds like some monsters can only be seen in these extra quests

Arc System Works has announced a new title for the 3DS in this week’s Famitsu, “Amazoness of Stardust”. This won’t be your typical dungeon RPG, based on a Famitsu report. All of the game’s playable characters are said to be female.

Amazoness of Stardust takes place on Prison Planet where a camp of prisoners are held. Players are tasked with choosing one of the detainees and trying to escape.

Amazons of Stardust is hitting Japan on November 14. Development is 70% complete. Miyama Zero of High School DxD fame will be working on character designs.

VooFoo Studios, developer of Pure Chess, has high praise for the Wii U hardware.

Speaking with ONM, technology director Mark Williams said Nintendo’s console is “quite a beast of a machine”. He added that it’s “very capable of throwing around some pretty impressive visuals.”

Regarding the decision to bring Pure Chess to Wii U, Williams stated:

“Wii U really seemed to be an ideal platform to bring Pure Chess to – it’s quite a beast of a machine so is very capable of throwing around some pretty impressive visuals. Also, there was no chess game available on Wii U already, let alone one that looked quite as stunning as this. This, combined with Nintendo’s desire to get a chess game onto the platform, meant that it was really a no brainer.”
