We finally have an update on the Meta Ridley statue from First 4 Figures, which was last mentioned a year ago. First 4 Figures has put out a teaser, which we have below. It shows off the near-final look of the statue.

Usually these teasers are soon accompanied by pre-orders. If we had to guess, reservations will go live next Friday. We’ll be sure to give you a heads up when that happens.

This week’s episode of Nintendo Minute has gone live. In today’s video, Kit and Krysta show off co-op in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. Check out the full episode below.

Amazon is again taking pre-orders for the next wave of Smash Bros. amiibo. Piranha Plant, King K. Rool, and Ice Climbers are all up here. Each one is due out on February 15.

Bandai Namco has announced a new Dragon Ball Games Super Showcase that will be taking place next week. The event will be held on January 14, lasting for an hour.

It’ll go live at the following times:

In the early ’90s, Capcom put out a Darkwing Duck title on the NES and Game Boy. Headcannon, one of the developers of Sonic Mania, was hoping to bring it back with a follow-up nearly three decades later. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be.

Headcannon showed off a pitch today for an entirely new Darkwing Duck game. Capcom unfortunately didn’t accept the pitch, but there were some interesting ideas behind it like bringing on original writers and voice talent.

Play-Asia has opened pre-orders for the upcoming Beam Kirby Nendoroid. You can reserve the figure here.

If you’re interested in the Nendoroid, you’ll need to pre-order by February 7 – that’s when Play-Asia is closing pre-orders. It’s estimated to ship at the end of August.

Kinda Funny Games Showcase

Last month, the Kinda Funny Games Showcase was held for the first time. The broadcast featured new titles, updates on existing games, release dates, and more.

The Kinda Funny Games Showcase won’t be a one-time thing, as it’s already confirmed to be returning this year – and sooner than you might think. The next presentation will be held in time for E3 2019 in June. It’s much too soon for any kind of major news about what’s planned, but expect updates over the next few months.
