Technical director Rodrigo Monteiro, programmer Tom Coxon, and CEO / designer Finn Brice were asked about a wide variety of topics, many of which were Nintendo-related. The team discussed Pocket Rumble’s delay, why Stardew Valley doesn’t have touch controls on Switch, cross-platform play for Wargroove, future support, and the possibility of Starbound on Nintendo’s console.

During its Dragon Quest Builders ‘Builders 100 Landscapes Contest: The Road to Builders 2’ broadcast earlier today, Square Enix debuted brand new footage of Dragon Quest Builders 2. We’ve included the relevant recording below.


Square Enix also revealed that if you have data from the first Dragon Quest Builders, you can bring it over to the sequel, though we don’t know the extend of this just yet. Specifics will be announced at a later date.

SEGA is continuing its promotional efforts for the new Sonic comic, which debuts in April. IDW has come up with two new villains: Rough and Tumble. Both will be appearing in issue three.

According to associate editor David Marriotte, “They’re independent agents, and more bullies than masterminds, but they’re tough enough to maybe become someone’s henchmen down the line.”

Another global mission in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon is a success. In the latest event, players were asked with collectively harvesting 30,000,000 Poke Beans. That target has already been surpassed ahead of the February 19 deadline.

All participants will receive 2,000 Festival Coins as a reward. If you register your game on the Pokemon Global Link, you’ll be given 4,000 Festival Coins.
