Splatoon is officially launching in just a matter of minutes, so we’re giving this one final bump!
Finally we’ve come upon the day when Splatoon reviews are allowed to be posted. Here’s a 15 minute video with a whole lot of what I thought about the game; would you believe me if I said this was edited down from a thirty minute video? I could seriously make a 60 minute video about this game honestly. Maybe I will someday.

Over the past couple of weeks, Austin has been playing the heck out of Splatoon. The game has a bunch of neat details, and he’s picked up on a few of them that fans might be interested in.

Electronic Super Joy heading to retail in September

Electronic Super Joy: Groove City, an eShop game that arrived on Wii U back in January, is now coming to retail. Creator Michael Todd announced on Twitter that the physical version is slated for September, and new content will be included. 15 new levels have been added to the package.
Todd wrote on Twitter today:
If you haven't heard, Electronic Super Joy is coming to consoles and actual goddamn physical shelves in sept. #esj

There are 15 new levels in all, 4 by @TheAlpenter, 1 by @uNcleargamer (fans who really knocked it out of the park & built levels for me!).

ZaciSa’s Last Stand – Insanity Mode videos

The upcoming 1.2 patch for ZaciSa’s Last Stand will add a new Insanity Mode. In it, levels introduces a random special event that can either help you or hinder your progress. You may encounter a level with reduced enemy speed, or possibly something like double or triple the enemy spawns.

Nintendo initiated an interesting offer over on the UK Wii U eShop. If you buy one of six select games, you’ll receive a 10 percent discount code that can be used for amiibo on the company’s online store. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Mario Kart 8, Mario Party 10, Splatoon, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Hyrule Warriors are the eligible titles.
Adventures of Pip release date bumped up to next Thursday

Adventures of Pip’s release date has changed once again, though this time it’s for the better. As opposed to June 10, you’ll be able to purchase the game starting on June 4 – next Thursday.
TicToc Games confirmed on Twitter just a short while ago:

Note that Adventures of Pip’s release date only applies to North America. The European launch will take place at some time in the future.

North America and Europe not getting Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3’s Link and Zelda costumes

Nintendo teamed up with Koei Tecmo for Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3’s Japanese release last year. By playing an eShop demo, players could access costumes based on Link and Zelda from Hyrule Warriors.
Unfortunately, Koei Tecmo won’t be offering these items in next month’s western version. The company told Siliconera that “those costumes are Japan-exclusive”.
