Pokemon Global Link registration and login issues could be contributing to failure of Global Missions
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 2 Comments
Many Pokemon players are experiencing issues registering and logging in to the Pokemon Global Link. This is needed in order to log progress in Global Missions.
As Kotaku points out, a Pokemon Trainer Account is required to sync game progress online. That’s where you ultimately gain access to the Pokemon Global Link. While it seems as though Trainer Accounts are fine, attempting to log in with that information on Pokemon Global Link refreshes the page rather than logging you in. Newly registered accounts appear to be primarily affected.
Unfortunately, these issues have been taking place for a month without any resolution in sight. One suggestion has been to add your name to your Pokemon Trainer Account and set your PGL settings to “Nobody”, but it’s definitely not a solution for all players. The situation may also explain why the first Global Missions in Pokemon Sun/Moon have ended in failure.

Kimishima apparently considering a 3DS successor
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 112 Comments
Nintendo could be considering a 3DS successor, if a report from Kyoto Shinbun is accurate. The publication is quoting president Tatsumi Kimishima as having said as much. Kimishima sees a need and market for it, hence why it’s being considered.
Take this as part news, part rumor for now. Kyoto Shinbun’s report is pointing in the direction of Kimishima considering a 3DS, though it appears to be pretty much the main outlet sharing the news.

Yoshi and his Woolly World are back to entertain you again, but this time on the 3DS – and with a friend. Yoshi has seen a long and healthy run in the handheld space with Yoshi Island remakes, spinoffs, and sequels, before going back to the console space. After Super Mario Maker, this is the newest 3DS port of a Wii U title from its library, but what’s the difference, if any, between its console counterpart?
