Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 0 comments
It’s been about a week since Nintendo Labo debuted around the world – though Europe just joined us on Friday. Since then, users have proven that Labo is more than just a toy or a simple add-on for Switch.
Part of the reason that people have been able to come up with a wide variety of creations is thanks to the Toy-Con Garage. With this aspect of Labo, Nintendo is allowing for rudimentary programming. That means you’re not just stuck with the standard Toy-Cons and software.
We thought it might be interesting to spotlight some of the creations that have been shared online over the past week. Continue on below for a look at a few creations that have gained some attention.

What are you expecting out of Pokemon on Switch? What’s a feature that you’d personally like to see? Do you believe it’ll launch this year or in 2019? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.

We were informed this week that Rayark’s rhythm game Voez has gone missing on the North American Switch eShop. Fortunately, it’s just a temporary situation.
Publisher Flyhigh Works has confirmed to us that an ESRB rating change caused Voez to temporarily become unavailable. “This is being resolved as quickly as possible and the game will return soon,” the company said.
After initially launching on the eShop last year, Voez will soon be receiving a physical version. PM Studios is lining up a retail release for this summer.

Idol Manager coming to Switch
Posted on 7 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch eShop | 0 comments
Idol Manager ended up on Kickstarter last month in hopes of securing funding. The $5,000 goal was blown out of the water, raising over $50,000 in total. The campaign also managed to cross a Switch stretch goal this week just before it ended, so the project will indeed be made for the system.
Idol Manager “is a business sim about conquering the entertainment industry using any means you deem necessary.” You’ll be playing the role of a talent agency as you deal with crises, manage relationships between idols, grow your fanbase and more.

The back and forth between Nintendo and the NCC over eShop pre-orders continues

The Norwegian Consumer Council has taken issue with Nintendo – as well as a few other gaming companies – with its approach to digital purchases. When pre-ordering any game from the eShop, it’s impossible to cancel. You’re locked in to that purchase, which the Norwegian Consumer Council isn’t happy with.
The two sides have been going back and forth, with Nintendo stating that it isn’t breaking any European laws. PressFire now has the latest on the situation. Nintendo is doubling down and says that they aren’t in agreement with the NCC and says the sales contract is fulfilled since you’re able to pre-load the game immediately after pre-ordering.
