Pokemon GO update rolling out (version 1.53.2 / 0.83.1)

Niantic is rolling out another update for Pokemon GO. Very soon, players on iOS will be able to download version 1.53.2. It’s version 0.83.1 for Android users.
The new Pokemon GO update addresses the following:
– Added support and made optimizations for the iPhone X screen resolution.
– Removed support for devices running iOS 8.
– Resolved a bug causing error banners to remain visible until the app is restarted.
– Resolved a bug that prevented Trainers from powering up Pokémon to their max CP.
– Improved load times when you open the app.
– Various bug fixes and performance updates.

Splatoon 2 maintenance scheduled for November 23 / November 24

Nintendo has new maintenance lined up for Splatoon 2 later this week. It goes without saying, but this will pave the way for the big update that was announced yesterday.
Here’s when the maintenance will be taking place:
– 4:50 PM PT (November 23) – 6:30 PM PT (November 23)
– 7:50 PM ET (November 23) – 9:30 PM ET (November 23)
– 12:50 AM in the UK (November 24) – 2:30 AM in the UK (November 24)
– 1:50 AM in Europe (November 24) – 3:30 AM in Europe (November 24)

Gear.Club Unlimited getting new update in January

Eden Games and Microids aren’t done with Gear.Club Unlimited. After launching the game yesterday, the game will continue to receive support.
The first true update we can look forward to is in January. Microids has said that players can anticipate the following:
– Addition of a Championship mode to local multiplayer
– Improvement of car selection’s screen (especially in local multiplayer)
– Performance shop: players will be able to have 10 cars in their performance shop instead of 4
– Addition of a new rear-view camera
– Navigation on performance shop improved

Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura getting day-one character DLC

It was recently revealed that Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura would be released on the Switch on November 24. On top of that, there seems to be a day-one DLC character named Yumi.
A recurring character in the Senran Kagura brand, Yumi is a serious girl with grey hair and light blue eyes. She goes on sale when the game releases for 926 yen, which is about equal to $8.20 USD.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild update out now (version 1.3.4)

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has received its latest update on Switch and Wii U. Nintendo just came out with version 1.3.4.
As you would expect with the small change in version numbers, this update isn’t too significant. Nintendo says that the patch has various fixes to improve gameplay.
