Last night, Nintendo began distributing a new update for Fire Emblem Heroes. Players now have access to version 1.4.0, which adds in several new features.
Nintendo’s original patch notes were rather short. However, since then, plenty of additional information has been shared. Continue on below for a rundown of Tempest Trials plus other changes and additions.
What’s in Store for the 1.4.0 Update
Thank you for playing Fire Emblem Heroes. Here’s an update from the Fire Emblem Heroes development team about the new additions for ver. 1.4.0.
■ Tempest Trials
This special event will introduce a series of maps you must fight your way through from beginning to end, using a limited number of teams of Heroes.
If a Hero falls in battle, they can’t be redeployed until the end of the challenge, so be careful.
The last map of the series is a boss stage. Points will be awarded depending on how well you do in facing the challenge. Even if all of your allies are defeated, however, you can still receive points.
Collect points and earn rewards!
Bulb Boy will be heading to Switch this month

A new game has been discovered on the Switch eShop. It seems Bulbware’s Bulb Boy, a horror puzzle adventure, will launch on Switch months ahead of the other platforms.
French website JeGeekJePlay has reported it to launch on June 20 for a price of €7.99 / £7.19 according to a photo of the eShop itself. Furthermore, Nintendo Life has published that it will release this summer in all regions, so we suppose that previous date applies to North America as well.
Here’s the official Switch trailer, so you can see for yourselves how the game looks.
And here’s an overview from the eShop:

Splatoon 2 introduces a new special weapon
Posted on 7 years ago by Fernando in News, Switch | 0 comments
The japanese Splatoon Twitter account has been giving updates about some of the old and new weapons that we’ll be able to play with in Splatoon 2. Today, they’ve shown two returning weapons: the Splattershot Pro and its sub-weapon, the Point Sensor, which now will keep the tag effect a few seconds after the explosion so any player passing by in that period of time will get tagged.
But the all new special weapon that will be paired with this Splattershot Pro is the Ame Furashi (we still don’t know the English name). As its name in japanese suggests, it will create a rain cloud that will move around, so the opponents will be forced to retreat if they don’t want to get wet with ink.

Atlus has a third 3DS game coming west. In addition to Etrian Odyssey V and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux, Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is also getting localized. It’s planned to hit North America early next year. Deep Silver has been publishing Atlus’ games in Europe, and that will likely continue here as well.
Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is yet another localization announcement leaked through a test page. Atlus should be following up with official news soon.

Etrian Odyssey V isn’t the only new 3DS game Atlus is localizing. Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux will be released in North America early next year, and likely Europe as well.
Just like the way in which Etrian Odyssey V’s localization was discovered, the news about Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux comes from an Atlus test page. Expect an official announcement soon.
