We recently learned that Shovel Knight will be launching for Switch, but we didn’t know when it would be available. An update on the PlayStation Blog by developer Yacht Club Games has revealed that Shovel Knight: Specter of Torment, which will be coming to all Nintendo systems, will launch in April.

This new campaign from the perspective of Specter Knight, member of The Order of No Quarter, will come along a new Shovel Knight package called Treasure Trove with all three main campaigns and some other new content.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild marks the end for Wii U – at least from a games standpoint. Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime told Polygon last week what we all expected, which is that no other titles are in development.

However, Reggie did say that Wii U games will still be sold at retail as well as on the eShop. Additionally, online services will not be shutting down anytime soon.

According to Reggie:

Headup Games prepared a launch trailer for this week’s Wii U eShop release Toby: The Secret Mine. Have a look at it below.

Previews for Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World are beginning to appear, and some English footage has been brought along with them. Several videos from the game are attached below.

Playtonic issued a new Yooka-Laylee trailer showing off eight multiplayer games included in the game. We’ve posted the video below.

This week’s North American Nintendo Downloads are as follows:

Wii U Download

Koi DX – $9.99
Snowball – $3.00
Toby: The Secret Mine – $9.99

Wii U Virtual Console

Star Fox 64 – $9.99

Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World has now arrived in Japan, so we have a pretty good look at the game in action. A half hour of footage is posted below.

Resident Evil 7 director Koshi Nakanishi was asked for his thoughts about Switch in an interview with Gamereactor. He told the site:

“As an industry member, I had the opportunity to try Nintendo Switch before the presentation. I think it’s unique hardware and I’ll explore its possibilities. I’ve always been a fan of Nintendo.”

Nakanishi is leaving the door open to the possibility of working with Switch in the future. We’ll just have to wait and see if he ends up creating any projects for it.

Update: The official Super Bomberman R website has been updated, revealing the game’s price in other regions as well – it will cost $49.99 in the US and €49.99 in Europe.

Following Super Bomberman R’s announcement for the Switch, one thing Konami initially weren’t ready to announce was the game’s price. Today, Eurogamer reports that in a note sent out to the UK press, Konami have confirmed that Super Bomberman R will cost £50 in the United Kingdom. The game’s price in other regions has not yet been officially announced.
