There is no doubt that when it comes to RPGs, some of the best music is composed for them. Xenoblade Chronicles is no different. With the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 3D around the corner, Nintendo has posted live performances of a few of the soundtrack’s tunes, which was also streamed live during a special Xenoblade Chronicles 3D presentation just a few days ago. Listen to all five performances of the gorgeous compositions below.

If I said it once, I said it a million times; complicated games are not my forte. While most would prefer to spend hours grinding in the latest MMO and cry their eyes out from life-draining games such as Dark Souls, you’ll most likely find me playing Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker alone in my room and giddying with excitement waiting for Toad to do the next adorable thing. As sad of a life choice that may seem, I honestly prefer it this way. Why slay mighty beasts when I can admire the ever-so-cute Toad all day? So, that’s why it took me forever to finally get my hands on the famous Monster Hunter series, and boy am I glad I did.

I had a set plan in place for this week’s Just a Chat, but everything changed when Nintendo announced a delay for Zelda Wii U. That’s the big story for this week’s discussion. Still, Daan and I get around to some other topics as well, including tidbits from Satoru Iwata, Splatoon, and Smash Bros.

Affordable Space Adventures’ launch is just on the horizon. We’ll be seeing the game on April 9, but KnapNok Games has shared with us another screenshot from the title to tide you over until then.

View the new image above. We also have an official description of the action below.

Not all the dangers of space come from artifacts trying to detect and destroy you. Sometimes peril comes from things far more organic, like these dark plants which will reach out to you in an attempt to wrap themselves around your ship, drag you over to their base and… And that’s pretty much it. What these plants do to you afterwards is a mystery, but certainly nothing good. So stay away from them as much as possible. Or… perhaps you have something that might scare them off?

Rodea: The Sky Soldier wasn’t the only big Famitsu review this week. The magazine also brought us the first verdict for Theatrhythm Dragon Quest, which is out now in Japan.

So how’d Famitsu’s four different reviewers feel about the game? They handed out scores of 10, 8, 9, and 8 for a total of 35 out of 40. For a full translation of Famitsu’s review, head on below.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart! Highlights include Bravely Second at #2 and Fire Emblem If at #6. Zelda Wii U has also entered the top ten.

Head past the break for the full chart. All votes were cast between March 12 and March 18.

The North American Xenoblade Chronicles 3D site is open. You can access it here. There’s plenty of information to check out, plus trailers and various images!

Dot Arcade hit the North American Wii U eShop last Thursday, but I noticed that no one posted about the game’s file size. Let’s fix that now! Dot Arcade weighs in at about 101MB.
