Several new games out came out this week on the eShop. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a look at the gallery below.

We’ve seen a number of impressive Switch ports over the past year such as Doom. On the other end of the spectrum, WWE 2K18 is proably the biggest disappointment. Digital Foundry has explored the Switch version in detail and unfortunately, even after patches, it’s a rather big mess.

WWE 2K18’s frame rate on Switch just isn’t up to snuff. When the frame rate dips, the whole game as a whole slows down. That can cause problems for audio since you may hear a character speak, only to see his lips finally move a few seconds later – so things are out of sync.

Next week, Merge Games and Painted Black Games will be putting The Long Reach on Switch. You can see the game in action via the video below.

Milky Tea, developer of next week’s eShop release Coffin Dodgers, has confirmed that HyperBrawl Tournament is in the works for Switch. It’s listed for an early 2018 launch, so it shouldn’t be too far off.

HyperBrawl Tournament is an arena based sports combat game that mixes sporting action and competitive player-versus-player combat. We have more details and a trailer below.

The Sexy Brutale has received yet another update on Switch, bringing the game to version 1.0.5. The latest patch finally brings significant improvements to the table. Among other things, resolution has been increased for both docked and portable play.

Tequilla Works isn’t finished with the Switch version of The Sexy Brutale. The team is now looking to improve loading times, which should be addressed in a future update.

The Japanese rhythm game Gal Metal has received an update. With version 1.0.1, new features have been added.

First, Practice, Free Play and Mode options have been added to the main menu, Players can also take advantage of a calibration feature that fixes input/audio discrepancies when playing on a television.

Currently, there’s no word on a western release of Gal Metal.

All signs were pointing to Kona releasing on Switch today. That has in fact happened in Europe, and North America should have access to the game in a few hours. We have a launch trailer below.

Clustertruck appears to be away away from releasing on Switch. Over on the North American eShop, it’s listed for May 15. Pricing is set at $14.99.

This date should be accurate as tinyBuild recently confirmed that Clustertruck had gone gold on Switch and had been submitted to Nintendo. If anything changes, we’ll let you know.
