Popeye coming to Switch

A new Popeye game based on the classic comic Popeye the Sailor Man is coming to Switch, an eShop listing reveals. Even more interesting is that the game is just a few days away from release.
Publisher Sabec is behind the new “official” title. According to the eShop page, “you play the spinach eating sailor in this modernized adaptation of the classic arcade game.” It’s described as a “simple, pick up and play, fast action, fun game which anyone can play” though achieving a high score will apparently be challenging.
Interactive comic Stilstand hitting Switch this week

Publisher Nakana.io, along with developers Niila Games and Ida Hartmann, have announced that Stilstand is landing on Switch this week. The interactive comic will be made available digitally on November 5.

Unpacking launch trailer

Ahead of tomorrow’s launch, publisher Humble Games and developer Witch Beam have shared a launch trailer for the zen puzzle game Unpacking.
Unpacking was confirmed for Switch back in June. In September, the final release date was confirmed.

Gameplay has emerged for The Legend of Tianding, a side scrolling action title from publisher Neon Doctrine and developer CGCG.
The project was first confirmed for Switch back in May. Then at the end of August, the final release date was announced.

Happy Game gameplay

Magic Potion Millionaire landing on Switch next week

According to an eShop listing, developer Artifacts will be putting its side-scrolling action game Magic Potion Millionaire on Switch. It’s due out on November 4.
Magic Potion Millionaire puts the focus on making money. You’ll go into dungeons to gather materials, create potions, and then sell them for a profit. The loop involves becoming stronger, taking on more difficult dungeons, and making more gold until your competitor surrenders.
Arcade Archives Mappy, Sky Kid gameplay

Famitsu has provided gameplay of the latest Arcade Archives titles on Switch, Mappy and Sky Kid. The former came out last week while the latter just arrived a few days ago. Both were shown during Famitsu’s live stream recording.
