Samurai Shodown is out now on Switch. Cham Cham joins the game as the latest DLC character on March 16.

Last week, Pyra/Mythra was added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as the latest DLC character. The two-in-one fighter is the new representative from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 instead of Rex, who has the starring role.

You may recall that Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai talked about the decision to feature Pyra/Mythra over Rex a bit during a presentation from earlier in the month. In his latest column in Famitsu though, he went into a bit of extra detail about the thought process behind it all.

We’ve now gone ahead and prepared a complete translation of Sakurai’s piece from the Japanese magazine. Continue on below to read it in full.

This week’s episode of Nintendo Minute has gone live. In today’s video, Kit and Krysta built a course and race to see who can get to the goal pole the fastest in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Check out the full episode below.

Fans have previously managed to turn The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild into a first-person game with mods. Thanks a new glitch though, that’s no longer necessary. Any player can technically change the perspective without mod use.

Twitter user A.xk originally discovered the glitch. It involves taking out the camera, holding an item in the menu, and cancelling the item hold.

Here’s a look at the glitch in action:

Nintendo Switch

According to the latest NPD report, total lifetime dollar sales of Switch hardware have surpassed the DS in the United States. The system is now Nintendo’s second best-selling platform in U.S. tracked history. Only the Wii ranks higher.

It’s also worth mentioning that Switch is currently the seventh best-selling hardware platform in lifetime U.S. dollar sales.

In February, Switch was again the best-selling hardware platform in both units and dollars in the U.S. The console’s unit and dollar sales were the highest for any hardware platform in a February month since the Wii in February 2009.
