Daemon X Machina “First Anniversary” update announced for November (Version 1.4.0)

Marvelous has announced that in celebration of Daemon X Machina’s one-year anniversary, the third-person shooter will be receiving a free update. According to a translation from Gematsu, the new update includes:
- “Grossfeiern” Arsenal skin
- “Grandemon” Outer suit
- “Eclipse RT: Omega Destruction Strategy” Order – Battle against the strengthened Colossal Immortal “Eclipse Q.”
- Three Arsenal decals
- Three Preview backgrounds
The update is set to arrive in November.
D3 Publisher’s TGS 2020 livestream lineup detailed

D3 Publisher has officially announced its livestream lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online, which will run from September 23 to 27. You can check out the full details here from Gematsu:

D3 Publisher will host a live stream on September 26 at 9:30 JST as part of Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online. It will be called the “D3P Broadcast #SaveTheSquareEarth” live stream. The latest games from D3 Publisher will be introduced, including the long-anticipated latest entry in the Earth Defense Force series, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers, and the new and popular Maglam Lord. There will be a ton of information shared for the first time, including a certain title that everyone is curious about. Please look forward to it!
The schedule includes a variety of programs unique to the online format hosted all throughout the day, including special talk shows featuring wonderful guests and game tournaments with viewer participation. Detailed program content will be announced soon via channels such as the D3 Publisher official website and Twitter account.

Blind Fate: Edo no Yami coming to Switch

A world that blends technology and folklore comes to life in Blind Fate: Edo no Yami, a ‘slash-and-blast action side-scroller’ coming to Switch from publisher 101XP and developer Troglobytes Games. You take on the role of Yami, a blind demon hunting cyber-samurai that tracks down and slays mysterious Youkai in a technologically twisted Edo period. Japanese folk tales meet robotics in this interesting mashup of history and technology. Currently there is no release date, but you can take a look at an overview of the game as well as the trailer as per Gematsu after the break:

Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration starts in Ninjala this month, details and first look

It was previously announced that Ninjala Season 2 will feature a collaboration with Sonic the Hedgehog. Today, GungHo shared details on what players can expect.
The collaboration will offer costumes based on Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles. Players can also look forward to Sonic-themed IPPON Decorations, Gum Utsusemis, and Stickers. Everything goes live on September 23.

Taito and Natsume Atari have issued the debut trailer for KiKi KaiKai: Kuro Mantle no Nazo, the recently-announced Pocky & Rocky sequel. We’ve included it below.

No More Heroes 3 delayed to 2021

No More Heroes 3 will no longer release this year as originally planned. The game has been pushed back to 2021, Grasshopper Manufacture and director Suda51 have announced.
In a lengthy statement, Suda51 explained that the team has been hit hard by COVID-19. The team is now back on track and “have decided to focus on “prioritizing quality, and to therefore push back the final release date.”
It was also announced today that Darick Robertson has been brought on board to contribute art for the game.
