Switch

Switch has suffered from a major issue since launch, which has unfortunately still not been addressed. The system’s Joy-Con controllers tend to drift after extended use. What that means is that the joystick will think it’s being tilted even though the player isn’t actually moving it. Needless to say, it can cause some headaches when you’re actually playing.

During Nintendo’s 80th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, president Shuntaro Furukawa did issue a brief apology. Furukawa passed along the following message in response to an investor question:

Nintendo Switch

During Nintendo’s 80th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, president Shuntaro Furukawa commented on the system’s success. He explained that the Switch Lite’s release played a big role. Additionally, Nintendo is able to focus all development efforts on a single platform rather than two at once. Right now, Nintendo is looking at extending the Switch’s life cycle.

Director and senior executive officer Ko Shioda also noted that Nintendo focuses on fun experiences instead of the technical power of the console. He said that the number of families playing together on Switch reaffirms the value of having a dedicated gaming console.

Furukawa also said that Nintendo is taking the stock situation very seriously. Although production has already ramped up, the company have an immediate response beyond further studies of the market and demand forecasts.

Shiny Zeraora

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield held an event over the past few days with an opportunity to obtain a Shiny version of Zeraora. Players were tasked with defeating the Mythical Pokemon at least one million times, which was quickly reached, and the final tally was double that.

If you deposited a Pokemon in Pokemon Home or moved a Pokemon to Sword/Shield, you should be eligible. This also includes eight Armorite Ore.

Unsurprisingly, the servers for Pokemon Home are being hammered right now. Users may have issues claiming Shiny Zeraora as a result. You’ll have several days to obtain the Pokemon though, as it can be registered until July 6. Once you’ve claimed Shiny Zeraora, it can be moved over to Pokemon Sword/Shield.

A brief trailer for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield has surfaced featuring the Mythical Pokemon Zarude. The signature move Jungle Healing has been given the spotlight.

To recap, here’s how Jungle Healing works:
