After not updating for three days, the official Super Smash Bros. Ultimate website updated today. It got a total of three new posts, although none of them really introduce anything new. Mario gets a little introductory post, and the website talks a bit about the new Black Hole item and the Battlefield stage.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle has received a major new update. Version 1.1.0 is out now for all players.

With the latest update, compatibility has been added in for several new DLC characters. These include Yang Xiao Long
Jubei, Hakumen, Aegis, Naoto Shirogane, Carmine, and Vatista.

Runner3

Choice Provisions has issued a new patch for Runner3. Along with “all sorts of bug fixes and improvements,” the update also has “a fix to the issue of the first Retro Challenge crashing for some folks”.

Runner3 is currently available on the eShop as well as physically at retail.

Community Effort Orlando (CEO) announced today on Twitter that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be playable at their upcoming annual fighting game event. Taking place on June 29 – July 1 in Daytona Beach, Florida, attendees will get a chance to play the game at Nintendo’s booth.

In Inkopolis Square, the main hub of Splatoon 2, players can share their fan art, in-game memes, and helpful tips with other users. This builds a sense of community amongst players, and helps the Splatoon universe feel vibrant and alive. Unfortunately, this also means that some flagrant messages find their way into the game’s lobby, and within the multiplayer maps where these messages also appear.

Speaking with Kotaku, Splatoon producer Hisashi Nogami explained that posts that receive more “likes” naturally appear more often; in theory, this means that the system can be used to upvote hateful comments “kind of like the real world.”
