Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is launching December 1, Nintendo has announced. A Limited Edition and Pro Controller are also on the way.

Here’s a new trailer:

The latest Nintendo Direct will be kicking off not too long from now. Nintendo will begin hosting the presentation at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET / 11 PM in the UK / 12 AM in Europe.

In the west, the new Nintendo Direct will be about 45 minutes long. The Japanese version will be 50 minutes long.

Assuming everything goes as planned, we’ll have a live blog going below. Big news updates will be posted in real time as well. Finally, we have embeds for all three streams below. Should be fun!

Update (9/13): Full patch notes added below.

Original (9/12): Puyo Puyo Tetris’ patch was originally supposed to drop in August. That didn’t happen, though the delay wasn’t terribly long. All players can now download version 1.1.0.

Today’s update is comprised of balance adjustments, increased online player rankings, and stricter penalties for rage-quitters. We’ll update this post if we have the full patch notes or any additional details.

Nintendo recently invited select members of the media and other outlets to go hands-on with Super Mario Odyssey this week. With the Nintendo Direct taking place today, we’ll likely be seeing new previews around the time the presentation ends.

A couple of images have popped up early. Both seem to show the Seaside Kingdom, based on the collectible coins shown. We have the two photos below.

Splatoon 2 has a few more Salmon Run events lined up for this week. One in particular is very interesting.

When you check the Salmon Run schedule in Splatoon 2, the event for Friday / Saturday is a bit of a mystery. Nintendo isn’t saying what weapons will be supplied here. The official Japanese Splatoon Twitter account mentioned this as well.

When The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition came to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last year, Bethesda introduced mods. The feature essentially lets players mess around with the game in ways that aren’t normally possible.

Now The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is making its way to Switch this holiday. Will we be seeing any mod support? Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like it. Bethesda’s Pete Hines told USgamer that mods aren’t planned for Switch “at this time.”
