Nintendo just announced another Wii U hardware bundle for Japan. Starting on November 12th, a Splatoon bundle will be available for a limited time in stores for 34,000 yen. The bundle includes a white 32GB Wii U and a digital version of Splatoon. Given the game’s ongoing popularity in Japan, it’s not surprising that Nintendo is including it in a hardware bundle.

This week, Famitsu has another feature on The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes. Along with a general article about the game, there’s also a small interview with some of the game’s developers, including series producer Eiji Aonuma. Although most of the discussion naturally focused on Tri Force Heroes, Famitsu did ask a couple of other questions about the franchise.

Next year will be the 30th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. When Famitsu mentioned this, Aonuma told the magazine:

“This year we wanted a Majora’s Mask concert, so it is not impossible that there may be a 30th anniversary concert next year. However, as we are trying to complete the new Zelda as fast as possible, that is all that is on our minds. That being said, we hope something will take form for the 30th anniversary. It is especially important to a producer of the series, so I hope to give something everyone can look forward to next year.”

More footage of Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival is now available. This time around, we have footage of the October month in the Board Game mode. Check out the video below.

Back in June, a European boxart image popped up, suggesting that Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival would support online play. This sadly appears to be untrue.

Having just played Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival and spoken with a representative at a press event, GameXplain reports that there is no online multiplayer of any sort. Fans probably won’t be too pleased with that news!

During a lecture at the Unreal Fest 2015 Yokohama Event, Keiji Inafune spoke a bit about Mighty No. 9. Japanese website Inside-Games relayed some of what was shared.

Inafune promised that Mighty No. 9 won’t suffer another delay. One of the big reasons why it was pushed back is because of the high number of platforms involved.

Inafune wouldn’t say that Mighty No. 9 is a complete success, as the game hasn’t been released yet. He feels that it needs to sell a lot of copies and many users playing it. Assuming Mighty No. 9 is successful though, there will be a sequel
