Amazon updated its holiday deals calender today with games, some of which are for Nintendo systems. Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 7 as well as Super Mario 3D Land will all be discounted on Black Friday. Specific prices haven’t been revealed, but we may find out as the deals come closer.

You can keep track of Amazon’s deals calender here. Note that games will continue to be added over the next couple of days. Most of the major gaming sales will kick off tomorrow.

Yet another photo has landed on the Japanese Splatoon Twitter account. This time around, we learn a bit more about the Octopus Army Corps:

We have obtained a photograph of one of the fighters in the Octopus Army Corps. They control a hovercraft-like vehicle using the end of their tentacle, while shooting ink from the nozzle. Their attacks are strong, but perhaps they are a little dim; when the hero hides in ink, for these soldiers, it is as though they suddenly disappeared.

Today Sakurai shares some more tidbits on the Gamer stage. Have you noticed them in-game yet?

Mom even appears out of the TV. Sometimes she jumps out of it and walks around. It gets a little crazy. The guy in the far window is Grandpa, who acts as Mom’s decoy. His wig is swaying.
