Wii U

Though the 3DS version of Smash has been out for some time now, I think it’s funny in a weird Nintendo way that so much effort is being put into censoring the roster for those who decided to wait. Today’s screenshot is a look at one of the secret fighter’s reveal cinematic:

Next week, Nintendo will release a pair of Mario Kart 8 DLC cards in Japan. Each will be available starting on October 31. The two versions will be priced at 1,200 yen – the same amount as the DLC bundle.

Nintendo has announced a new track for Mario Kart 8’s first DLC pack. Yoshi Circuit, which first appeared in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, will be included. You can get a look at the revamped track in the video below.

Those who purchase Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker from the Nintendo UK store will receive a special gift. Orders will come with a keychain featuring Toad himself. Since Nintendo doesn’t explicitly say “pre-order” in its tweet, I assume that some consumers will be able to nab the keychain if they purchase Captain Toad after launch as well.

Amiibo compatibility is coming to Hyrule Warriors, Nintendo has announced. Players will be able to use the Link figure in the game at some point in the future.

Specific details beyond the initial announcement were not shared today.

As tweeted by Nintendo of America:
