Warner Bros. Interactive has pulled back the curtain on LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. The game will be released this fall on Wii U, 3DS, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS Vita, and PC.

Here’s an official overview of the game:

In LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, the Caped Crusader joins forces with the super heroes of the DC Comics Universe and blasts off to outer space to stop the evil Brainiac from destroying Earth. Using the power of the Lantern Rings, Brainiac shrinks worlds to add to his twisted collection of miniature cities from across the universe. Now the greatest super heroes and the most cunning villains must unite and journey to different Lantern Worlds to collect the Lantern Rings and stop Brainiac before it’s too late.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will include over 150 characters from the DC Comics universe, including members of the Justice League and LEGO big figures such as Killer Croc, Solomon Grundy, and more. “Fans of all ages will be able to control their favorite heroes and villains with new gadgets and abilities,” Warner Bros. said in its announcement. “Brainiac’s mind controlling abilities and the power of the Lantern rings bring unexpected twists to the classic characters’ personalities.”

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham also allows players to visit iconic locations including the Hall of Justice, the Batcave and the Justice League Watchtower. Additionally, it’ll be possible to access Batman’s training modules on the Bat Computer and take part in various challenges, battles and races.

All versions of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 are on sale at Best Buy today. Each console release (including Wii U) has been discounted by $20 while the 3DS version is available for $15 off. If this deal interests you, place an order on Best Buy here.

Generally speaking, we shy away from posting classification listings unless they are of some significance. While the OFLC’s rating for Bayonetta 2 doesn’t bring anything new to the table, it does seem to be a sign that the game will be arriving sooner rather than later. We also learn that the game has earned a MA15+ rating – the same classification as its predecessor.

Nintendo has shared new details about “Super Smash Bros. Smash-Fest @ Best Buy”. For those unaware, the company is teaming up with Best Buy for a special Smash Bros.-related event during E3 week.

Over 100 stores will host Super Smash Bros. Smash-Fest @ Best Buy on June 11 from 4 to 9 PM and June 14 from 12 to 5 PM local time. At the retailer, fans will be able to get their hands on the same four-player demo version of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U that people will get to play at E3 2014.

You can find a full listing of participating locations here.

The first 70 attendees who pre-order Super Smash Bros. for Wii U or 3DS will receive a rare collectible Super Smash Bros. gold coin (while supplies last). Additionally, consumers will be provided with a $5 My Best Buy Rewards Zone certificate when they both pre-order and pick up their game when it’s available.

Tecmo Koei and Nintendo are not currently planning a Wii U bundle for Hyrule Warriors in Japan, according to the game’s official Twitter account.

A bundle was ruled out for the time being when one fan asked about the possibility. Instead, the Twitter account advised fans to pick up an alternative bundle with the high-profile title Mario Kart 8 launching in just a matter of days. “Mario Kart 8 comes out next week, so please know it’s important to purchase a bundle early,” the Twitter account wrote.

Hyrule Warriors hits Japan on August 14.

Just a few days ago, rumors circulated of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U incorporating NFC functionality. This was based on a comment made by Nintendo France general director Stephan Bole, who seemed to confirm the news while speaking with French outlet Le Figaro (since removed from the interview by the way).

Unsurprisingly, Nintendo is keeping quiet about the situation. When asked to comment on the rumor, a company spokesperson from the UK told CVG:

“On 8th May 2014, Mr Iwata announced the decision for Nintendo to release character figurines with built-in NFC functionality that are compatible with video games starting from this year-end sales season. There has, however, not been any specific announcements regarding which software titles for Nintendo platforms will use this functionality. We have no other announcements to make at this time.”
