With each new character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate comes another form for Kirby. The character’s copy ability lets him take the form of the opponent he inhales and use a part of their moveset.
Nintendo has now prepared a few screenshots showing what Kirby looks like when inhaling Sephiroth, the game’s latest fighter. Check out the full set below.
Ahead of the release of Sephiroth in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate next week, Nintendo is releasing something a bit early for the fans. Players can partake in Sephiroth Challenge, a limited-time mode where you can fight Sephiroth as a boss. Defeat him and you can use him and the Northern Cave stage prior to the release date.
Sephiroth Challenge will be live in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate between December 17 and December 22. Note that you’ll need to have purchased the Sephiroth DLC / Fighters Pass Vol. 2 to access the event.
Today’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate presentation with Masahiro Sakurai largely focused on Sephiroth joining the game as the next DLC fighter. However, there was a bit of other news as well.
Like previous broadcasts with Sakurai, the latest set of Mii Fighter costumes were unveiled. The lineup includes Barret (Outfit/Gunner), Tifa (Outfit/Brawler), Aerith (Outfit/Swordfighter), Chocobo (Hat), and Geno (Gunner).
All of these Mii Fighter costumes drop alongside the release of Sephiroth. They’re priced at $0.75 each.
