VGP – or VideoGamesPlus – has started to make more noise in the video game space over the past few years. While the Canadian retailer has been selling games for awhile, it’s also now become known for restocks of physical releases on Switch. Titles that were generally sold out elsewhere or are hard to come by have been returning at VGP on a regular basis.

Going forward, we’ll be using this post to keep track of Switch physical release reprint / restock updates at VGP. Note that while the retailer is based in Canada, shipping is available in various regions including the United States and the UK. Also, keep in mind that some restocks sell out quickly so you may want to make a move sooner rather than later if you’re interested in a particular game.

No More Heroes creator Suda51 doesn’t appear to be a big fan of Metacritic, believing it receives too much attention and can lead to some developers intentionally making a game in a formulaic way to receive high marks.

Metacritic is a known entity within the gaming sphere – and in other industries. The site aggregates reviews from various outlets to put one particular score on a release. Getting a low Metacritic score can sink a game while a very high one can lead to a great deal of buzz.

Suda51 had this to say about Metacritic while speaking with GamesIndustry:

One last look at Wild Bastards is available with the game’s launch trailer. This week, Modus Games and Blue Manchu put the strategy shooter on Switch.

It’s usually closer to the holidays that we start hearing about Switch bundles, and a new package featuring Super Mario Bros. Wonder has just been announced – well, in at least one territory.

Over in Australia and New Zealand, the upcoming bundle will feature a white OLED system. Super Mario Bros. Wonder will technically be a digital copy as it comes pre-installed. Other than that, each unit includes a 12-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online.
