The latest update for Fortnite is now available. Version 9.21 features a new weapon, soon-to-be-released limited time mode, and more.

Below are the full patch notes:

HORI has revealed new gamepad-style Switch Joy-Con for Daemon X Machina. In Japan, the product launches in September. Pricing is set at 4,780 yen.

The controller is designed exclusively for portable play, and features a button on the back. It is not compatible with various features like gyro controls or HD Rumble.

NBA 2K19 has received a massive discount on the North American Switch eShop. The game normally goes for $59.99, but can be had for just $2.99 – a 95 percent discount.

Yesterday, GameReactor interviewed director Suda51 about all things No More Heroes 3. He mentions wanting to bring over the t-shirts from Travis Strikes Again, talks about being in the Nintendo Direct, confirms it’s Switch-online for now, and more. He also reiterates interest in putting the original No More Heroes games on the system.

Cadence of Hyrule is just a day away from launching. Yesterday, Nintendo announced that the game arrives on June 13 via the eShop.

If you want to get a head start on downloading the game, pre-loading from the eShop is now available. The game takes up 677MB of space.

At E3 2019, Game Informer was able to catch up with Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma and discuss the recently-revealed Breath of the Wild sequel.

Why are we getting a direct sequel in the first place? As it turns out, he wanted to “revisit that Hyrule again”, but now with “new gameplay and new story”. He said:

We now have the official announcement for Alien: Isolation on Switch. It confirms that Feral Interactive is working on the game, and that a couple of features will be included: gyroscopic aiming and HD Rumble.

At E3 yesterday, Gamespot had the chance to go hands-on with the Link’s Awakening remake. Joined by JC from Nintendo Treehouse, they recorded about 15 minutes of footage, including parts of the first dungeon of the game:

Intelligent Systems published the latest event calendar for Fire Emblem Heroes, giving a sneak peek at what’s to come up until early July. The highlights include a new Summer-themed Summoning Focus as well as two Tempest Trials+ almost back-to-back.
