We’ve known for a while now that X.D. Network’s top-down roguelike Juicy Realm is coming to the Switch. Today, they revealed some more information on the game. The release date has now been narrowed down to “Summer 2018”. The game will have two player local co-op, and it will be playable in English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. If you want to be among the first to check out the game before its release, you will need to Kyoto next month, where it will be playable at BitSummit 2018. Last month, we learned that BeautiFun Games’ Nihilumbra was heading to the Switch. Today, we finally have a concrete release date and some more details. The game will be available on the Switch eShop on May 3rd, for $7.99 / €6.99 / £5.99. You will be able to pre-purchase the game starting on April 19th. Square Enix has published a new (Japanese) trailer for Octopath Traveler. This “April overview” video covers a couple of topics, most importantly two new playable characters. The game’s official website has also been updated.

H’aanit is a hunter who lives a solitary life in a village deep in the woods. Her mentor left the village a year ago to hunt a demon called “Red Eyes”. Worried, H’aanit sets out to look for her mentor and the demon. Her Path Action is “Incite”, which she can use to set animals she has tamed on someone. In combat, she uses bows, a weapon class that has high accuracy. Hunters can also increase the critical hit chance of allies or delay the actions of enemies.

The fortune cookie shop is now open in the market place for players to try to attempt to get things like furniture.

“Cookies will be switched out every once in a while, so make sure you check back often! You might even get fortune cookies as gifts from your animal friends.”

You’ll also earn a stamp for buying a cookie with leaf tickets and after gaining a full card of stamps can net players past holiday event items and fortune cookie items. Holiday reissue items available til May 17th.

The newest grand hero battle is Saias and will be available for players to attempt until April 25th.

This week in Pokemon Shuffle we have the ultra challenge being Shiny Ho-oh and the great one including Raichu (Alolan), Armaldo, Shaymin Sky Forme, Mudsdale & Oranguru. Once per day is Tornadus, special stage being shiny Tyranitar and daily Pokemon of Oricorio P’au Style, Alolan Grimer, Dewpider, Alolan Sandshrew & Brionne. Lastly there is a Diancie Escalation Battle.

The latest update for Nintendo Switch Parental Controls is now live. Assuming you have the mobile app, version 1.6.0 is now available.

The new patch doesn’t do much, as it only implements bug fixes. It’s not quite as exciting as version 1.5.0 when several features were added.

The most recent Pokemon global mission has finished, giving players 2000 FC or 4000 FC for those connected to global link.

The reward for the 2018 International Challenge March Battle Competition is also available til March 31st. Players can recieve 50 BP.

Saber Interactive appears to be working on a sequel to NBA Playgrounds. In Australia, a classification for NBA Playgrounds 2 has been listed. It was just added to the database today.

We’ve yet to receive an official announcement for NBA Playgrounds 2 at this time. However, the Australian database only rates authentic products – so we should be hearing something very soon.

The latest Pokemon GO update has arrived. On iOS, the mobile game is now at version 1.69.2. Android users can download version 0.99.2.
