SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy launches this summer. Similar to other fighting titles, leading up to release, we’ll hear more about the game’s roster.

In an interview with Honey’s Anime, producer Yasuyuki Oda indicated that SNK Heroines will include a few surprising characters. When asked if the cast will be large and whether there are plans for original characters, Oda said:

Ukiyo Publishing released a new Death Road to Canada trailer today highlighting the game’s multiplayer features on Switch. Check out the video below.

Even after performing Switch maintenance last night and with another session planned for today, Nintendo will be conducting even more maintenance on March 14 and March 15. The schedule was updated a few hours ago.

The latest Switch firmware update, 5.0, has just been released. Among other things, it expanded the friend suggestion feature, now letting you add friends from Facebook and Twitter if you link your Nintendo Account to your account on these social media platforms. However, an exploit lets you do more than that – it lets you access your actual feeds on both platforms.

This exploit was found by user PariahMentality on Twitter and reported by GameXplain in their latest video. When going through the steps to link your Nintendo Account to your Facebook or Twitter account, you will eventually be taken to a page where you have to agree to authorize an app called “Nintendo Switch Friends” to use your Facebook or Twitter account. Instead of clicking on agree, click on the Facebook or Twitter icon on that page, and it will take you to your Facebook or Twitter feed – specifically, the mobile browser version of them. You can then use pretty much all of the features of the respective sites. This is all happening using the Switch’s internal internet browser, which is also normally unaccessible through regular means.

It’s possible that Nintendo will release a patch soon that prevents this exploit, so if you want to try it out, better do it quickly.

A new Pokemon movie in Japan always means some tie-in promotions with the current games, and this time will be no different, as the latest issue of CoroCoro magazine reveals. The latest Pokemon movie, titled “Everyone’s Story”, will be released in Japan on July 13th. The Legendary Pokemon its story focuses on is Lugia, and as such, Lugia will be distributed via a serial code if you pre-book tickets for the movie between April 13th and July 12th. Codes will be valid until September 30th and can be redeemed in Pokemon Sun, Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

This Lugia has its Hidden Ability, Multiscale, and comes with the moves Aeroblast, Defog, Tailwind and Hurricane, a move it can’t learn normally. Lugia will be at level 100.

It’s currently unknown whether or not this Lugia will also be distributed outside Japan in some form.

The latest entry in the action puzzler series Lode Runner, Lode Runner Legacy, is coming to the Switch. The game will be available on the Japanese eShop sometime this Spring; it will cost 1,112 Yen.  So far we only know of the game’s Japanese release, but an English version of it already exists on PC, so a Western release wouldn’t be surprising at all.
