The new Goby Arena stage for Splatoon 2 is releasing tomorrow, Nintendo has announced. It’ll go live at the following times:

– 6 PM PT (March 1)
– 9 PM ET (March 1)
– 2 AM in the UK (March 2)
– 3 AM in Europe (March 2)

Amazon is running its latest sale on Sandisk microSD cards. The big discount is for the 400GB which version, which started out very expensive, and will still cost you a pretty penny. However, while it started out at $250, you can pick up this microSD card for $190, making it $60 (24% off).

Nintendo posted a new behind the scenes video for Super Mario Odyssey today showing the recording of Jump Up, Super Star! – or more specifically, the instrumental music behind it. You can view this below.

Nintendo says that it considered a variety of music genres for the song, but went with a jazzy style in the end that matched the game. 17 people were brought in to record.

Payday 2 finally landed on Switch this week (late last week for folks in Europe). Digital Foundry is back again to look at how the game is from a technical perspective, and unfortunately, the optimization here is lacking compared to its console counterparts.

Digital Foundry first tackles resolution. When docked, Payday 2 runs at 1600×900 and 720p in portable mode.

Thomas Brush started a Kickstarter campaign in hopes of funding his new project Once Upon a Coma. In just one day, the target goal was reached. Once Upon a Coma has also now hit a $60,000 Switch stretch goal, meaning it will be developed for Nintendo’s console.

The game begins as main character Pete wakes from a strange coma, only to find that things aren’t as he remembers. You’ll be exploring a strange and terrifying land, fighting against some scary enemies with your trusty barber’s blade, and more.

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze will be playable for the first time on Switch this week, Nintendo has announced. The game will be debuting at Emerald City Comic Con alongside Kirby Star Allies.

Nintendo shared the news on Twitter a short while ago:

Emerald City Comic Con runs between March 1 and March 4 at the Washington State Convention Center.
