A new Fire Emblem Heroes collaboration was just added in to Miitomo last night. For a look at the various activities, watch the following video:

As another way of promoting Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Nintendo UK sent series producer Eiji Aonuma “on a quest” to gain the Master Sword of Master Sword of Resurrection. Aonuma played around with battling a Guardian (in amiibo form), gathering food, and more before finally approaching the sword. Of course, this was all done in good fun.

Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World launched in North America and Europe today. With that in mind, Nintendo updated the original Wii U game to support the Poochy amiibo.
Those who own Yoshi’s Woolly World will find version 1.1.0 ready and waiting. Once installed, players “can tap their Yarn Poochy amiibo to the Wii U GamePad while in a course to make Poochy appear in game.”
Yesterday, Gradius hit the Wii U Virtual Console along with Bomberman ’94. We now have some footage of the classic release below.
Monster Hunter Generations is the latest item to be added to Nintendo’s maintenance schedule. The game’s online services will be impacted for a few hours next week.
The maintenance schedule is as follows:
– 3:50 PM PT (February 7) – 6:30 PM PT (February 7)
– 6:50 PM ET (February 7) – 9:30 PM ET (February 7)
– 11:50 PM in the UK (February 8) – 3:30 AM in the UK (February 8)
– 12:50 AM in Europe (February 8) – 4:30 AM in Europe (February 8)
A small update was just released for Fire Emblem Heroes, which kicks off the Worldwide Launch Celebration campaign. Until February 20th:
- The amount of stamina required to play maps in the Training Tower will be cut in half
- The amount of stamina required to equip skills will be reduced to 0
- Log in once during the campaign period to receive 10 Stamina Potions

Super Mario Run players are being given a 2,222 coin gift in celebration of Fire Emblem Heroes’ release. Players only need to log in to Super Mario Run to claim their coins, and they do not need to have downloaded Fire Emblem Heroes.
