Today, Nintendo announced the results – in Europe, the Bowser design won the vote. Starting on July 29th, European users can buy the Bowser shirt in-game item for 0 Platinum Points via My Nintendo.

The safari stage gives the chance to earn Elgyem, Beheeyem, Drowzee, Hypno, Frillish, Jellicent and Mesprit. The update also announces that next week will see a new Mega competition, featuring a return of Mega Steelix.
Nintendo shared the results of Splatoon’s final Splatfest on Sunday. It was close, but Team Marie prevailed due to slight edges in popularity and wins.
Since this was the final Splatfest, Nintendo did something a bit special. Those who were in the top 100 of the Callie vs. Marie competition were recorded, and the results were highlighted on the game’s official Tumblr. Head past the break for the full list.

Yo-kai Watch 2 is only available in Japan at the moment. This will change once both versions head to North America on September 30, but what about the rest of the world?
While there hasn’t been an announcement yet, it seemed like a certain bet that Nintendo would eventually bring Yo-kai Watch 2 to Europe and Australia. And thanks to a classification from the latter continent, it’s now all but confirmed. Ratings for Yo-kai Watch 2 have appeared in Australia. Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls were both added to the database today. Guess Nintendo will have something to say soon!
Thanks to Jose for the tip.
Pokemon GO has now topped 75 million downloads worldwide, according to a Sensor Tower report.
Over the weekend, it surpassed 50 million installs on Google Play alone. Pokemon GO is the fastest game to reach that mark (19 days) plus “the fastest to that milestone ever for combined worldwide iOS and Android downloads.”
This chart shows how Pokemon GO won out the race to 50 million downloads on mobile:
Sensor Tower also mentions that Pokemon GO is at the number one spot for downloads in revenue in all available App Store territories. That includes France and Hong Kong – two regions that just recently received the app.
Several Level-5 trademarks have popped up in the European trademark database. The new items include
Lady Layton, Inazuma Eleven Ares, Megaton Musashi, Otme Hero, Yo-kai Daijiten, and Yo-kai Watch Geraporhythm.
Level-5 Vision will be taking place later this week, where several announcements will be made. It’s unclear how many of these trademarks will materialize into reveals. We also don’t know how many will be related to Nintendo platforms. At the very least, we’ll hear more about Snack World, which was previously confirmed for 3DS.
